In so doing, Kat is communicating to Dom that she’s there-they’re there together-experiencing such an amazing and unique thing, and Kat lets Dom know that Dom is safe. Just notice how Dom relaxes the moment Kat pulls her in. Epic friendship!
I agree completely. I've had this kind of friendship, where I was most like Dom and my GF knew just how to anchor me with a touch. Taught me all about appropriate boundaries and such. When I did come out in my late 30s, she teased me about the crush I had on her, which I thought I'd hidden... And I'm rambling, sorry.
