Honestly, Layla was the best pick there as the caster said...nobody can reach Layla and she now have a stun if either Faramis or Gloo try to engage
Only ling can and , with ling the only one , ciku doesnt even need to play super defendsive just buy won and with his team backup . He is 90% unkillable
I think hanzo can counter her but nobobdy pick hanzo in tournament..

Moonton did great giving Layla a stun, and enabling her to do kiting. She can now put up a fight even in the early game

Honestly tho, after meeting some layla player in ranked recently, now she's one of the heroes that i really want to avoid in the enemy side lol, but i think she really need a tank as roamer (not the ambush one like selena, nata etc.) to accompany her all the time, because as long someone guarding her, she can control the game even in the early

all skins are open to use in MPL tournaments, even those skins yet to be released in the official servers
Layla always had this capability, but sadly, the game is centered around who can end the fastest, the mm be independent, and start scaling fairly early on along with several other factors. That's why she isn't picked.
Kinda weird they want a mm that can end fast but most mm need about 10-15 min to finish their item and layla at that time already finish item and level
I am from the Philippines.. ciku gais is my favorite Todak player bec. Of the way he pick some random heroes like Layla or Miya & he his very good playing those kind of heroes..
Layla still won't work in PH pro scenes even with the buff.
-PH pro players are goddamn serious. 1st standing team have no complacency even if it is the last standing team.
-PH players playstyle are high inclined with macro plays over micro plays. Wise and V33nus are no as good as other Junglers and Roamers in terms of Micro Skills (using Fanny, Chou, Franco etc. like a god) but their superior macro skill managed to bring them to upper standings.
-Their choices in deciding objectives are so cautious and well-established (Benny's sneaky split push plays requires high team coordination and the Zilong pick could have worked if it was not hard countered and if one went carrless for a moment. Zilong was hard countered because of the enemy team draft having strong support and backup to their gold laner and they played with pure caution)
Ciku is like Lemon malaysian version. He can play any hero he want even on MPL 😅
MPL MY only, because if they will use it in a tournament where there is indo and ph, then they are just funny as thier picks..

I just met Layla in rank and it was too OP, seriously. I know Layla's late game power and I could counter it then (as a tank or fighter user), but now this hero is too powerful hero even she could easily one shot a tanky hero. Should we ban layla now?
Whenever enemy have Layla or miya, you should always lock them first.
Cc them and finish them off that is how you counter them.
Then, finish the game as soon as you can.
