New jeans Stan spotted. Thank you for showing finished projects you don't love/that aren't perfect. It helps those of us who are still learning feel normal.
You’re looking great today in the MiuMiu knockoff Jenny
Going to bat for fingering sweaters here -I used to live in a warmer climate, often humid so I could only wear lightweight knitted garments. And I liked the fit of finer knits, they seem to mould better to the body. And now I’m in a cooler climate and more into yarn I prefer knitting with and wearing nonsuperwash wool. And I find fingering is still the most comfortable as long as it’s not freezing cold. So don’t give up on knitting with finer yarn, I think you might find those garments comfortable and flattering.
That baby sweater is the cutest thing EVAH!!! Love the bows & snaps, Jenny!!
Toddler mom here. Just wanted to say snaps over buttons every time. Those Willy ones be trying to run away. vv cute
Love the pink bows and snaps on the baby cardigan. The hats you made are freaking adorable 🥰 And congratulations on finishing your blanket!
im so here for your pastel pinks and bunny hat era 💖
With the Ellen’s cardigan.. maybe add pocket flaps with the snap closure thing.. or thread through a thin ribbon to tighten and then tie to make a little bow
Your bunny hat is really cute on you. Wear it proudly😊❤
Using the exercise bike as a holster of WIPs. Great knitting tip!😜💜🙏💜
I know what you mean Jenny!!
Loving your dupe cardy 😊
I got the cordsmith too lol. I finally had a project that required a really long icord. It made it soooo much faster and easier! I find icord on dpns to be really tedious personally.
For the book, it's a shame that the Eweknit website doesn't show any photos, and the Laine website only a few. I was still able to find the photos of all the patterns on another reseller website (Les Ciseaux Magiques), and it was much more convincing.
Ohh I think all the pictures are linked on the laine product page under the "learn more"- kind of hard to find though!
I've been eyeing the icord tool, too
With the Ellen’s cardigan.. maybe add pocket flaps with the snap closure thing
acrylic yarn is so humbling sometimes
And you never did it again🤣
I really appreciate you being open about not being totally over the moon with some finished objects. It's very relatable (if that is a word). Me too, I still wear my things even if they are not the greatest piece of knitwear ever. "you are humbled every day by your craft", I'll remember that one! 😅❤
