I used to work for Disney World Parks and besides illuminations and MK fireworks this was the show that moved me to tears. I would literally see it every chance I got bc it was one of my favorite shows.
Yes Rivers of Light show is amazing, I prefer the We Are One over the Master Mix
Absolutely my favorite show people don't give it enough credit! I could not be happier that I got to see the show in its original form because the new modified version with snippets of the lion king makes no sense plot-wise. While I definitely think the show could've gotten some improvements like the lanterns shown in the original concept art or more fountains, adding pieces of the lion king and jungle book in just to make people connect with the show was not the right choice. I want to see something new at the parks when I go, something that moves me, not something that I can watch on Disney Plus at home.
My wife and I saw the original back in 2018 during our first wedding anniversary trip. With no Disney IP tied in, it really hearkened back to more of what I associate with an Epcot-style presentation & soundtrack (almost Millennium Celebration or Illuminations-esque.) I absolutely loved it.
I am sad to see that they completely modified this beautiful show and soundtrack with the Lion King overlay in 2019. While I understand it will be much easier to corral kids during the show with recognizable IP, it just doesn't hit the same notes.
Very happy that this master mix is out there, along with recordings of the original show before the "fix."
This is hands down one of my favorite shows at the parks. I cry at all of them pretty much, but this one makes me cry just listening to the music and not watching it. Everyone around me at the show must think I'm crazy hahaha. It's so beautiful! Thank you for posting. I listen to it all the time!

This was the best night time show at Disney's animal kingdom and I liked seeing four animal floats that represented fire, water, earth, and air. Nice music loop WML95. I wish this show would come back.

I think its kinda like a sibling show to reflections of earth where reflections focuces on humans this focuses on animals and nature
There both great shows in my opinion
One way I compare it, it has a torch that rises at the end and lights

If any of you all are roblox fans I'm making the Orgininal and the updated version of it using WML95 Soundtrack for Orgininal cause he is a legend. Also ya I'm a programmer.
I havent seen this in person and I havent heard the soundtrack either to avoid spoiling it, but I heard terrible comments about this show... is it really that bad?
I would say that waiting an hour for it is not really worth it, but it was a beautiful show. There are a ton of lights, projections, and fountains covering the lake and the lights match the music quite well. I personally though it was a great show.

We ate @Tiffins which was great, they gave us a Lotus light up popcorn bucket. After filling it, we arrived at our reserved seat just in time for the show to start. It was overwhelmingly beautiful.
That was before the 2 Bobs removed the live entertainers.
