Hey Daniel and Yuka, congratulations on the 2 year anniversary of your UA-cam channel. I've see you guys pop up on other channels I follow such as with me Japan with the other Yuka and on TAKASHii's channel. I've been lurking with your other videos and livestreams periodically so thought why not click the old Subscribe button. You are an interesting couple with an even interesting background with how you met and made it to Japan. I image the process for Daniel to enter Japan and get settled in was a bit different than Yuka's given she is from there. The property ownership idea in Japan seems like a cool topic with many challenges. If you proceed with that, that might make for some interesting content on just getting through the red tape and all to buy property in Japan, which I suspect for even the Japanese this is something of a dream. Since Daniel is interested in tech, and you are in the tech capital of the world, getting a view of new tech that is not released to the rest of the world would be interesting. Being from the States myself, when I was in Okinawa sometime back, I noticed tech in Japan was much further ahead than in the US. I image there are events there that showcase this new tech being released. Sorry for the long comment, its just the way my brain works. Good luck with the channel and here's to even more successful next 2 years. Cheers!
This was a nice introduction to you both, and very interesting! My advice for someone who wants to be a successful UA-camr is to make the place the star (not yourselves), especially in Japan. Be able to talk about the history, the cultural significance, and the ambience of the place. When talking about food, which is a BIG driver of views, sharpen your vocabulary to describe the ingredients, the mouthfeel, texture, flavor releases, and overall experience. It is a crowded field, but I think you can do it! PS: Check out the channel Kyde and Eric, who have been living in Japan for the last 10 years.
Congratulations of 2 years of UA-cam. I will be following your journey. And you are right UA-cam is not easy unless you get really lucky with some videos or you are from the golden age where you could get big on UA-cam. As an example: I started my channel in 2006 and still have a mini channel ( I don't mind that as I do it as a hobby but I like making my quirky videos too). So indeed I think enjoying the creation-journey is important and being true to yourself. Your introduction was very cute. I look to new videos and streams although I cannot be always in the live. But I will pop in here and there.
