I love you in all of your wigs! I have to say that I like my wigs that I picked out myself, better than the ones our local wig lady always talked me into. I guess my main problem is that my friends here in Arizona are not used to seeing me with a lot of hair. I used to have a lot of hair, but since I moved to Arizona, I have very little hair. They are not very nice about their comments and keep telling me that they like me better with "my own flat hair". They are going to have to get over it. I love them, but I am tired of the criticism. I may even try one with a little more length than I usually buy. Thank you for sharing your your thoughts and experience and tips with us. ❤️
Hi Karyn! I love your amazing attitude! And I love your comment because you've touched on a very important reason why I do this. I want to bust the stigma of wearing wigs. I'm sickened by the shaming that goes on.. and the worst part is that we even do it to ourselves! I wear makeup to hide imperfections... I wear a push up bra to give the illusion of cleavage (where there is none..lol). The point is.. makeup, bra's, girdles, even plastic surgeries are considered acceptable things in this society! Wearing a wig, no matter your reason for it, should be embraced and accepted like any other thing we do to enhance our beauty and confidence! I say if a person feels shame wearing a wig, then they should not do it. Because if one feels a sense of shame, it will show and they'll get shame in return. But if you have a great attitude and have FUN, it will be reflected in others attitudes towards it as well! Our best defense to break the cycle of negative is by having a great attitude. Wigs make me feel beautiful and confident! I feel BLESSED to have these little harmless hats of hair. I'd sooner give up food or shelter than my wigs..lol. Your friends could be jealous or envious of your new confidence when you wear your wigs.. its human nature. They'll get over it soon enough when you hold your ground. All my best, TAZ XOXO
TAZSWIGCLOSET, you are so correct! My friends change their hair color almost every month, but I have to use wigs to do it. I don't see the difference. It's basically the same thing, just done in a different way. I had a friend announce my arrival at a party with "come see Karyn's new wig". 30 people came and silently stared at me. Most unknown to me. I was humiliated, but I did a spin so they could see it and just said "don't ya love it?!". You have now totally made me want Ellen Wille Sky!! I absolutely love it. I like all the wigs you showed but the RW Pitch Perfect wig is my favorite one and I love the color of it, I'll have to get that wig myself. I'm new to this channel and just subscribed by the way. Thanks for replying and I have a question. I am actually thinking about buying the Brenna wig first because it is another wig I really like besides the pitch perfect and it is somewhat cheaper but anyways I was wondering is the cap stretchy? I ask because I have a large sized head. If I could get an answer, I would appreciate it. I plan to buy the brenna wig sometime this week. Oh and what do u use to moisturize it? Do u just use a conditioning spray? Thanks again!
Blair Bear Hi Blair! The cap has a decent amount of stretch.. however, ROP caps are usually on the petite side to begin with. You will want to use spray conditioner after each use. I like the drier fibers as they move well and mimic natural hair. Hope this helps! XOXO

hello ms Taz =) am truly enjoying your videos about wigs, very informative, so thanks much for sharing your love for wigs! I don't own any yet and i am beginning to want to try one for myself because i am starting to have grey hair (am 49 yo)... and my husband wants my hair long (chest length) and right now it is, but really thin and flat. I really would prefer something that has volume but looks natural and wavy.... but I don't want to break the bank, for starters. So, what would you suggest? Also, I have several concerns and/or questions. I truly would appreciate if you could answer them: 1. are all synthetic wigs done nowadays are breathable than decades ago? 2. which ones are more manageable: human hair or synthetic hair (i hate frizz), esp'lly after you store them in a box for so long. 3. are ALL WIGS adjustable to your head (i have a flat back of head, which looks bad on pony tails =( . 4. Can I pony tail a wig ? 5. Are wigs addicting, once you get the hang of it/or love it, because of easiness to style and to change hair color (safer) ? Have a wonderful day!

Thank you so much for these videos about getting ready to wear wigs out in public. I am right there now. I have much hair loss and it is time to make the change, but I am kind of dragging my feet about wearing one out. One thing that is slowing me down is that I live in open range and the wind can be horrific at times. I can leave the house with nice looking hair, open my gate and so much for the hair. I have kidded about stapling a wig to my head so I don't have to chase it to the next county. I am not totally worried about actually losing the wig as I have learned a lot about keeping them on, but what the wind will do to the style does worry me a lot. It could be a disaster to show up some place public and the wefting is all that is seen. You mentioned Dolce worked for you in wind. Any other suggestions!?

hi Taz I have a question ....amd you always have great answers for me you said when you were trying on one of your wigs that you don't put a brush to it I have the Zara and think I do way too much to it. I put the conditioning spray in I put the detangling spray in I brush it I comb it I do wear it almost everyday am I doing too much should I not brush it as much it's getting a little matted at the bottom not too bad but it feels different I don't know what to do I just ordered a new one and don't want to ruin that one this was my first wig and I think I abused it LOL any suggestions tips are appreciated thank you so much for always answering and helping me out
Melanie Tufano Hi Melanie. Friction and static are enemies to synthetic wigs. You may be able to extend the life of the fiber by limiting washing and brushing the fibers. Long wigs do not last as long as short wigs. Straight wigs don't last as long as curly. I don't think you're abusing your wig. Zara will need extra combing and detangling because it's a long straight style. Try to limit brushing. Using a wide tooth comb/pick and work your way from bottom to top might help. Condition with detangler and/or silicon regularly. The wig I was referring to when I said I don't brush is a mid length curly one. I can get away with finger styling since it's curly and does rub against my clothing. Hope this helps! Good luck! 💕

I loved this wig but I could not wear it due to my chubby cheeks and kind of thick neck. I'm not really fat but it was just too much face showing. I even asked for honest opinions from family members and they agreed it just did not flatter me. Thought I would pass that along to anybody that has a little more weight in the face in case they are considering this one. It's a beautiful wig!!!
I bought Evanna in Rose Gold R from Cysterwigs based on your suggestions and love it. You have another video comparing Dakota by Envy in Sparkling Champagne and Light Blonde and I ordered that one too but they were out of Sparkling champagne so I bought Light Blonde. Have not received it yet, but do you think if Rose Gold R looks good on my skin color (in the side picture) that the lighter blonde will also look ok? It looks almost white in your videos. ( I requested to be alerted when Sparkling Champagne comes in). I am commenting here only because I did not see a place to comment on that video.
Jackie Savoy Hello! The Light Blonde is very very light.. with all that platinum highlighting involved. I can’t say whether I think it will compliment your skin tone.. There were a couple Raquel Welch wigs featured, but if you are referring to the one I have in the thumbnail photo, its is RW Pitch Perfect in Shaded Cream RL23/61SS. It is a discontinued style unfortunately. You might look at RW Straight Up With A Twist as an option:-) XOXO
have you ever taken a small weft of hair, like the piece that keeps falling into your face, and teased it right at the base and placed it where you want it? it'll stay all day! I learned it from Patti from Patti's Pearls. she's full of awesome tips.
Dede Vaughn Hi DeDe. I've seen Patti do that. I don't like teasing my wigs because I change the style and parting all the time. I'd rather use a fiber cream to create style and hold. Great tip though, thank you! 💕💕💕

I just ordered the Brenna wig this Saturday. I am so excited to get it. I get the feeling that I am really gonna like it. This is my first time ever spending so much money on a synthetic wig but it must be a very nice wig for the price. I ordered it in the Rose Gold R (same as yours) color. Such a beautiful hair color by the way. Is using a conditioning spray enough or do you also deep condition the wig once in a while?
Blair Bear Hi Blair! My video review of Brenna released today on the Cysterwigs channel if you're interested. It goes into detail. I think the spray conditioner will do the trick. I also recommend a soak in fabric softener on occasion. Fill sink with water, use a full cap of fabric softener.. soak up to an hour (more will not hurt anything).. rinse and spray liberally with spray conditioner and dry upside down in the shower. I got the the first in Creamy Toffee LR, and the 2nd hasn't arrived in a brown, i forget exactly which Brown. My sister, husband and friends all tell me WOW, ❤el u can wear Blonde..( I'm a brunette, dark Brown) But I not only love wearing Blonde wigs, I love different lengths and textures, straight, curly you name it.. Ok, so just 2 bring u up to speed, I have hit one or two road blocks,My Tempo 100 dlx hand tied..OMG, drove me crazy, I had it on all day with it stays, and a wig grip, its Average size, but was not comfortable at all, I was far from home and had it on from 9 am till 7pm, and it actually HURT, my head hurt ,ripped her the second I came in the door. Another disappointment is my Radiant Beauty By Gabor, Luxry collection,, it's very comfortable, great curl pattern, feels amazing but....I have learned " COLOR MATTERS" this one is Gabor Lace Front in GL6-30 and shes just "DULL" kinda a washed down drab light brown with hints of lite Auburn, so I'm not great at knowing colors, maybe you can hit on the subject of Colors, in the different designers, our own complexion to consider, 14 wigs later I can wear almost any color but not drab, light browns with pale Auburns..N E hu thanks for all you give us Taz Much love at you ❤elanie

Then I quickly bounced back, I thought of you, about confidence, and told myself "HOLD UP" no one looks great 24 hours a day, and now with all these beautiful amazing styles, and colors,I look and feel GREAT at least 12-15 hours a day, and to boot not wearing my wig does not take away an ounce on love I get from myself, my husband, or my maker when I not wearing my helper hair...all the hair really does is add to all the wonderful mysteries, glitz, and glimmer that life is responsible for inspiring, not my hair, not my wig..its all about the people,and Hair, What an added bonus accessory!💙💋🤗
Hi Taz, I really want the editor's pick but I need a large cap size. Do you have any suggestions of similar styles that may come in large size. Editor's Pick currently only available in Average size. They just are to tight and do not stretch enough for comfort.
Lesi Smith Hi Lesi! Hope you are well! Editors Pick seems to have a quite a bit of stretch. Right off, I don’t know of any medium length wavy styles that come in large cap size. The RW memory cap III runs very large ..like Stop Traffic. They might be planning to release a medium length wavy style in their summer collection coming soon. Also, Estetica runs large. They offer the Violet that is a pretty wavy style. Hope this helps! XOXO
Are you a necessity wearer or fashion.Do you have to have wig cap underneath,are they not,is glue or tape needed n do they move if not pinned etc in windy weather or are they ok should I be caught in rain for a short time while getting my hood/umbrella up. I just want to know as much as possible. I bought a long brown wig years ago and the top looked so flat and false n I couldn't run my fingers through it like you have done because it knotted up. I couldn't believe that there were wigs you just put on n played with into a style n that was it. I guess I sort of still think have you had all yours altered inside n a hairdresser sort the shape to suit you out.? I don't mind if I know what I am buying if you know what I mean x
Hey Diane. My love for wigs was born from bouts of hairloss all my life. My hair is pretty good condition now, but I will always wear wigs. I do not alter my wigs for the reviews. These are straight out of the box after a shake and a little fluffing. A good quality wig should behave as you're noticing on my wigs. I do not wear anything under the cap. The built in adjusters are enough for me to get a secure fit. You might want to check out a few of my playlists.. its chock full of info for new wig wearers :-) Best of luck! XOXO
I really think you can pull off the Shaded Biscuit.. its not entirely warm or ashy... there's a blend of ash platinum and light gold platinum.. and the rooting isn't stark in contrast like the "white out" wig. Maybe someday! XOXO

I have a question. I live in Wisconsin where during the Summers it is hot and very very humid. I've been watching all kinds of UA-cam videos about wigs. I have even gone as far as purchasing several. How are all of you able to wear a wig when it is hot out? I've just been wearing mine in the house, not out yet, and I can't stand how hot they are. Any suggestions on what to look for. Much love
Edith Murphy Hi Edith.. it’s a mind set, really. It’s gonna be hot as hell outside and I’m gonna sweat with or without wig...lol. I avoid prolonged outdoor activities when it’s miserable hot. Wigs take getting used to. Try choosing a short, lightweight, open cap style if that suits you. Stay cool by staying in the shade as much as possible.. wear hat in the sun. When I work out in a wig, I put a thin sweat band on just under the wig cap...helps wick away sweat. Good luck! Our heat index is supposed to be 105 today.. my sister is having a party. I’m gonna wear my Ellen Wille Sky and try to stay in the shade. If it gets to hit I’ll run in and stick my head in the freezer🤣🤣🤣. XOXO
Love getting info I wore wigs years ago i did not have to then but I was going to a lot of meetings out in public a lot now due to accident 7 years ago stress i have lost a lot of my hair so I have been checking out wigs and did get some hair extensions put one on went to dinner my husband thought it was my hair it just clips on to my hair in a poney tail i have tried everthing to get my hair back nothing worked and one caused big cyst had to have operation so I am done with hair products a friend of owers is useing olive oil and caster oil and is getting her hair back but she is still young to.

I don't have an official answer. I think it may be because most people part on the left so the manufacturers play to the majority of wig wearers.. If youre a right parter, you may need to select a full mono top. Some left mono wigs can be parted on the right, but you will lose the benefit of the monofilament part... and sometimes you can expose the seam and wefting. Best wishes, TAZ XOXO
chovava bateman Carlotta is far superior imo. The LF and cap on Carlotta fit me so well.. Most Estetica's caps are becoming absolutely cavernous! Way to large for the petite to average head. You're right though.. they're each in that mid length wavy style. Violets wave pattern is more loose than the others. I like Editors Pick and Gabor Soft and Subtle much better than Violet. Hi Taz, I have Straight Up With A Twist, but I don't have the movement that you have at the bottom. It's hard to explain, but mine seems to stand out away from the neck and stays there until I smooth it down. Do you have any suggestions? I use JR shampoo and sprays. Cheryl Deitz Hi Cheryl. Hmmmm.. could be you got one that was made slightly different. It happens sometimes. I might try some steam to flatten the fibers that are sticking up/out. I shampoo a wig in my Q&A part 2 video. Sometimes heat friendly fibers get sticky when they get dirty and may limit the movement. Hope you can correct the issue! XOXO
Hi Taz, I washed the wig and it is better. Even though I had just washed it 3 or 4 wearings ago. I think the problem was to many products. Sprays, texture cream, etc. This time I washed it with JR shampoo and rinsed in fabric softener. No sprays or texture creams. It's 100% better. Thanks for your help!
Lexicron Hello! I do not typically wear a wig while working out.. I usually work out at home and I wear a thick headband over my bio hair. Even when I run at the trails I do not wear a wig. I have worn a wig while working out, but I prefer not to... I like to be unrestricted, free. Even if I had no bio hair I probably would not wear a wig while working out. Have a great weekend! Judy Manier Hi Judy and thanks for the question! All these wigs are straight out of the box.. no customization. I used a bit of contour cream on the Pitch Perfect style, but that's it! You'll find that most of my reviews are of wigs right out of the box.. never worn in most cases. My goal is to show the wigs as they are so you can make a better, more informed decision on whether to buy a particular style. Taz, I just bought the Pitch Perfect - Silver Mist and I LOVE IT! Now I want to work toward either Upstage or Straight Up with A Twist. thanks for sharing how you wear it. I did a little video and my friends loved it and love the color. :) I don't think I can get Silver Mist in the other wigs though...gotta decide what color I should get. My hair is naturally white with some black streaks in front and black in the very bottom of my nape. I'm thinking Shaded Biscuit if it's close enough to platinum. Not sure if it is or not.

I love you in all of your wigs! I have to say that I like my wigs that I picked out myself, better than the ones our local wig lady always talked me into. I guess my main problem is that my friends here in Arizona are not used to seeing me with a lot of hair. I used to have a lot of hair, but since I moved to Arizona, I have very little hair. They are not very nice about their comments and keep telling me that they like me better with "my own flat hair". They are going to have to get over it. I love them, but I am tired of the criticism.

Hi Karyn! I love your amazing attitude! And I love your comment because you've touched on a very important reason why I do this. I want to bust the stigma of wearing wigs. I'm sickened by the shaming that goes on.. and the worst part is that we even do it to ourselves! I wear makeup to hide imperfections... I wear a push up bra to give the illusion of cleavage (where there is none..lol). The point is.. makeup, bra's, girdles, even plastic surgeries are considered acceptable things in this society! Wearing a wig, no matter your reason for it, should be embraced and accepted like any other thing we do to enhance our beauty and confidence! I say if a person feels shame wearing a wig, then they should not do it. Because if one feels a sense of shame, it will show and they'll get shame in return. But if you have a great attitude and have FUN, it will be reflected in others attitudes towards it as well! Our best defense to break the cycle of negative is by having a great attitude. Wigs make me feel beautiful and confident! I feel BLESSED to have these little harmless hats of hair. I'd sooner give up food or shelter than my wigs..lol. Your friends could be jealous or envious of your new confidence when you wear your wigs.. its human nature. They'll get over it soon enough when you hold your ground. All my best, TAZ XOXO

It's basically the same thing, just done in a different way. I had a friend announce my arrival at a party with "come see Karyn's new wig". 30 people came and silently stared at me. Most unknown to me. I was humiliated, but I did a spin so they could see it and just said "don't ya love it?!".

I am actually thinking about buying the Brenna wig first because it is another wig I really like besides the pitch perfect and it is somewhat cheaper but anyways I was wondering is the cap stretchy? I ask because I have a large sized head. If I could get an answer, I would appreciate it. I plan to buy the brenna wig sometime this week. Oh and what do u use to moisturize it? Blair Bear Hi Blair! The cap has a decent amount of stretch.. however, ROP caps are usually on the petite side to begin with. You will want to use spray conditioner after each use. I like the drier fibers as they move well and mimic natural hair. Hope this helps! XOXO

I really would prefer something that has volume but looks natural and wavy.... but I don't want to break the bank, for starters. So, what would you suggest? Thank you so much for these videos about getting ready to wear wigs out in public. I am right there now. I have much hair loss and it is time to make the change, but I am kind of dragging my feet about wearing one out. One thing that is slowing me down is that I live in open range and the wind can be horrific at times. I can leave the house with nice looking hair, open my gate and so much for the hair. I have kidded about stapling a wig to my head so I don't have to chase it to the next county. I am not totally worried about actually losing the wig as I have learned a lot about keeping them on, but what the wind will do to the style does worry me a lot. It could be a disaster to show up some place public and the wefting is all that is seen. You mentioned Dolce worked for you in wind. Any other suggestions!?

hi Taz I have a question ....amd you always have great answers for me you said when you were trying on one of your wigs that you don't put a brush to it I have the Zara and think I do way too much to it. I put the conditioning spray in I put the detangling spray in I brush it I comb it I do wear it almost everyday am I doing too much should I not brush it as much it's getting a little matted at the bottom not too bad but it feels different I don't know what to do I just ordered a new one and don't want to ruin that one this was my first wig and I think I abused it LOL any suggestions tips are appreciated thank you so much for always answering and helping me out
Melanie Tufano Hi Melanie. Friction and static are enemies to synthetic wigs. You may be able to extend the life of the fiber by limiting washing and brushing the fibers. Long wigs do not last as long as short wigs. Straight wigs don't last as long as curly. I don't think you're abusing your wig. Zara will need extra combing and detangling because it's a long straight style. Try to limit brushing. Using a wide tooth comb/pick and work your way from bottom to top might help. Condition with detangler and/or silicon regularly. The wig I was referring to when I said I don't brush is a mid length curly one. I can get away with finger styling since it's curly and does rub against my clothing. Hope this helps! Good luck! 💕

I loved this wig but I could not wear it due to my chubby cheeks and kind of thick neck. I'm not really fat but it was just too much face showing. I even asked for honest opinions from family members and they agreed it just did not flatter me. Thought I would pass that along to anybody that has a little more weight in the face in case they are considering this one. It's a beautiful wig!!!

I bought Evanna in Rose Gold R from Cysterwigs based on your suggestions and love it. You have another video comparing Dakota by Envy in Sparkling Champagne and Light Blonde and I ordered that one too but they were out of Sparkling champagne so I bought Light Blonde. Have not received it yet, but do you think if Rose Gold R looks good on my skin color (in the side picture) that the lighter blonde will also look ok? It looks almost white in your videos. I just ordered the Brenna wig this Saturday. I am so excited to get it. I get the feeling that I am really gonna like it. This is my first time ever spending so much money on a synthetic wig but it must be a very nice wig for the price. I ordered it in the Rose Gold R (same as yours) color. Such a beautiful hair color by the way. Is using a conditioning spray enough or do you also deep condition the wig once in a while?
Blair Bear Hi Blair! My video review of Brenna released today on the Cysterwigs channel if you're interested. It goes into detail. I think the spray conditioner will do the trick. I also recommend a soak in fabric softener on occasion. Fill sink with water, use a full cap of fabric softener.. soak up to an hour (more will not hurt anything).. rinse and spray liberally with spray conditioner and dry upside down in the shower. Ok, so just 2 bring u up to speed, I have hit one or two road blocks,My Tempo 100 dlx hand tied..OMG, drove me crazy, I had it on all day with it stays, and a wig grip, its Average size, but was not comfortable at all, I was far from home and had it on from 9 am till 7pm, and it actually HURT, my head hurt ,ripped her the second I came in the door. Another disappointment is my Radiant Beauty By Gabor, Luxry collection,, it's very comfortable, great curl pattern, feels amazing but....I have learned

The RW memory cap III runs very large ..like Stop Traffic. They might be planning to release a medium length wavy style in their summer collection coming soon. Also, Estetica runs large. Are you a necessity wearer or fashion.Do you have to have wig cap underneath,are they not,is glue or tape needed n do they move if not pinned etc in windy weather or are they ok should I be caught in rain for a short time while getting my hood/umbrella up. I just want to know as much as possible. I bought a long brown wig years ago and the top looked so flat and false n I couldn't run my fingers through it like you have done because it knotted up. I couldn't believe that there were wigs you just put on n played with into a style n that was it. Hey Diane. My love for wigs was born from bouts of hairloss all my life. My hair is pretty good condition now, but I will always wear wigs. I do not alter my wigs for the reviews. These are straight out of the box after a shake and a little fluffing. A good quality wig should behave as you're noticing on my wigs. I do not wear anything under the cap. The built in adjusters are enough for me to get a secure fit. You might want to check out a few of my playlists.. its chock full of info for new wig wearers :-) Best of luck! XOXO

I really think you can pull off the Shaded Biscuit.. its not entirely warm or ashy... there's a blend of ash platinum and light gold platinum.. and the rooting isn't stark in contrast like the "white out" wig. Maybe someday! XOXO

I have a question. I live in Wisconsin where during the Summers it is hot and very very humid. I've been watching all kinds of UA-cam videos about wigs. I have even gone as far as purchasing several. How are all of you able to wear a wig when it is hot out? I've just been wearing mine in the house, not out yet, and I can't stand how hot they are. Any suggestions on what to look for. Much love
Edith Murphy Hi Edith.. it’s a mind set, really. It’s gonna be hot as hell outside and I’m gonna sweat with or without wig...lol. I avoid prolonged outdoor activities when it’s miserable hot. Wigs take getting used to. Try choosing a short, lightweight, open cap style if that suits you. Stay cool by staying in the shade as much as possible.. wear hat in the sun. When I work out in a wig, I put a thin sweat band on just under the wig cap...helps wick away sweat. Good luck! Our heat index is supposed to be 105 today.. my sister is having a party. I’m gonna wear my Ellen Wille Sky and try to stay in the shade. If it gets to hit I’ll run in and stick my head in the freezer🤣🤣🤣. XOXO

Love getting info I wore wigs years ago i did not have to then but I was going to a lot of meetings out in public a lot now due to accident 7 years ago stress i have lost a lot of my hair so I have been checking out wigs and did get some hair extensions put one on went to dinner my husband thought it was my hair it just clips on to my hair in a poney tail i have tried everthing to get my hair back nothing worked and one caused big cyst had to have operation so I am done with hair products a friend of owers is useing olive oil and caster oil and is getting her hair back but she is still young to.

Ruth Hersh I have bio hair.. it's super thin and sparse and frizzy and just plain horrible. Wigs have changed my life! I have so much more confidence since making the decision to wear wigs full time. Hi Taz, do you have any idea why wigs always have a left mono part as opposed to a right?
I don't have an official answer. I think it may be because most people part on the left so the manufacturers play to the majority of wig wearers.. If youre a right parter, you may need to select a full mono top. Some left mono wigs can be parted on the right, but you will lose the benefit of the monofilament part... and sometimes you can expose the seam and wefting. Best wishes, TAZ XOXO

chovava bateman Carlotta is far superior imo. The LF and cap on Carlotta fit me so well.. Most Estetica's caps are becoming absolutely cavernous! Way to large for the petite to average head. You're right though.. they're each in that mid length wavy style. Violets wave pattern is more loose than the others. I like Editors Pick and Gabor Soft and Subtle much better than Violet. Hi Taz, I have Straight Up With A Twist, but I don't have the movement that you have at the bottom. It's hard to explain, but mine seems to stand out away from the neck and stays there until I smooth it down. Do you have any suggestions? I use JR shampoo and sprays. I'm also trying to find the video of washing a wig. What is the name of that one? Thank you so much for making these videos!
Cheryl Deitz Hi Cheryl. Hmmmm.. could be you got one that was made slightly different. It happens sometimes. I might try some steam to flatten the fibers that are sticking up/out. I shampoo a wig in my Q&A part 2 video. Sometimes heat friendly fibers get sticky when they get dirty and may limit the movement. Hope you can correct the issue! XOXO
Hi Taz, I washed the wig and it is better. Even though I had just washed it 3 or 4 wearings ago. I think the problem was to many products. Sprays, texture cream, etc. This time I washed it with JR shampoo and rinsed in fabric softener. No sprays or texture creams. It's 100% better. Thanks for your help!

Do you wear wigs while working out? How do you manage that?
Lexicron Hello! I do not typically wear a wig while working out.. I usually work out at home and I wear a thick headband over my bio hair. Even when I run at the trails I do not wear a wig. I have worn a wig while working out, but I prefer not to... I like to be unrestricted, free. Even if I had no bio hair I probably would not wear a wig while working out. Have a great weekend! Judy Manier Hi Judy and thanks for the question! All these wigs are straight out of the box.. no customization. I used a bit of contour cream on the Pitch Perfect style, but that's it! You'll find that most of my reviews are of wigs right out of the box.. never worn in most cases. My goal is to show the wigs as they are so you can make a better, more informed decision on whether to buy a particular style. Taz, I just bought the Pitch Perfect - Silver Mist and I LOVE IT! Now I want to work toward either Upstage or Straight Up with A Twist. thanks for sharing how you wear it. I did a little video and my friends loved it and love the color. :) I don't think I can get Silver Mist in the other wigs though...gotta decide what color I should get. My hair is naturally white with some black streaks in front and black in the very bottom of my nape. I'm thinking Shaded Biscuit if it's close enough to platinum. Not sure if it is or not.
