Doha is one of my favorite cities to travel to. Spent three years there 2009-11 while in the military, then back in 13-14 as a contractor. Returned three times since with the most recent being last Sep. I might be over there again before this month is over. Geez, so much progress has been made since 09. From the brand new airport complete with gangways for direct boarding aircraft (no more shuttles), more highways (way better traffic then in the past), to the metro subway, a fully built up Pearl, The Mall of Qatar, and don't get restarted on Lusail or the underground parking at the Souq (no more dirt parking). It's like visiting a new city every time I visit. Looking forward to the next trip
1400 years mentality! Do you know what rights and freedoms are! For more than 1400 years, women in all cultures have been used as commodities for sale! Europe was selling its women to work on noble farms! So was East Asia! The marriage and the dowry were paid to the wife's family so that they would give it to whoever asked to marry her! I think this culture is still present and prevalent in Europe and is used in the courts in religious families! While 1400 years ago and until this moment Islam granted and preserved the rights of everyone, whether they are women or men, the dowry is paid to the wife! If a man abuses and insults his wife, she has the right to divorce the man and divorce him, and she also keeps the dowry that the man gave her for marriage as compensation for her. She must return to the man the dowry he paid her for marriage! And her testimony was accepted in the courts and the judiciary, and she was granted her right to inheritance, and she was granted her right to education, and she was granted her right to accept or reject marriage! And Arab women before Islam worked in medicine, nursing and trade, and even after Islam more than 1400 years ago they had the right to work and trade, while other mentalities used to treat them as just a body that fulfills their sexual desire and lust and sold as a commodity! Times in Europe are treated as commodities in discos, prostitution roles, porn production companies, abortions, and stripping them in corporate advertisements. What about the killer! He kills if he deliberately kills any person, whether Muslim or non-Muslim! And the people of the murdered have the option to forgive him or demand retribution! Unlike other religions and unlike other societies that were killing for the sake of slavery, achieving political ambitions and controlling others! The first university in the world established by Fatima Al-Fihri! Mariam Al-Astrolabia is the one who discovered the astrolabe! She was a Muslim and from the mentality of 1400 years! Al-Khwarizmi also, Ibn Sina, Ibn Battuta, Ibn Al-Haytham, Al-Razi, Abbas Ibn Firnas, and the twin sons of Moses are the greatest engineers known in history. The scientific approach that works in our day was invented by scholars of this mentality in the Middle Ages! The political, social and human sciences were the first to study them and make them among the sciences. They are the scholars of this mentality! When Europe was living its very, very dark nights, these deficient mentalities lit up its streets with oil lamps! The first universal language was Arabic and the first universal library was in Baghdad and Andalusia! These mentalities! And if I ask you now, what are the rights and freedoms that you claim? You will answer what! Lesbian! Abortion! Gender transformation! alcohol ! drugs ! Prostitution! Moral degeneracy ! This is your thinking about rights and freedoms!? What does your main work! education ! the health ! Government services! Judgment! Trading ! Are you free in these requirements! Is it offered to you for free because it is one of your rights?! I do not want to be rude and enumerate the bad and dirty things that you consider as freedom and development, but this is the reality of the situation. Your freedom is linked either to the vagina or to the cock!
