pretty sure when the automa retrieves, it retrieves all its workers. not just the color specified. just like any normal player would. at least thats how I've been playing it.
Thanks for taking the time to check out Apiary and share the playthrough with the community! I'll add to the comment about planets being named for plants: The factions are roughly named after subspecies of honey bees, and some of the abilities are loosely tied to those subspecies behaviors or traits. The hive mats are named after real types of beehives and roughly shaped similarly to their real-world counterparts.
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Thanks for the playthrough, Colin. Enjoyed watching along. The planets are all named after plants, as far as I can tell. Malva is the genus name for mallow, and Nolia is, well it's there in the name magnolia! lol Astera I'm guessing is the aster family, meaning stars, which is apt! lol
@@MeetMeAtTheTable hehe no probs Colin, glad to be of some use for a change! lol Sorry to break my promise, but... Given that this game is about insects in space, does that make if Sci-Fli? lol
The game looks quite interesting! A few interesting twists on worker placement and fast moving turns. Definitely want to give this a try!
It is quite good both for solo and competitive! A high recommend!
Incredible work!
Thanks so much! Just ordered the expansion! Love this game!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Ohhhh, I've got my eye on that!
obsessed with this game. can't stop playing it. haha. props to Connie Vogelmann on such a fantastic first game.

Check the rules on that one I read it's only the color specified. Thanks so much for watching and I agree I love this one!
Confirmed check page 5 of the automa rules. You only retrieve the specific color not all workers! That should help you a bit!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable thanks. I looked it up as well. :)

That is so freaking cool!! I can't wait to look those up as I play this the next time. Thanks for watching and commenting!
46:18 The card you played lets you buy the farm at a discount of 1 fiber OR 1 water, not both. Unless I missed a discount coming from somewhere else…
Good catch I made a Klingon subtitle note thanks!
Not seen much buzz about this game, Colin.
I'll try to behive myself and stop with the bee puns. 🐝🐝 lol
Hahaha!! I like that! This one is super fun and very quick
