same takeaways as the last video, decent product at an outdated price range. Am very impressed with the tanchjim PR people for reaching out to you like this, Chifi brands have that well known reputation for cutting reviewers off for saying anything negative whatsoever. I recall that one brand asking you to change your video or revise your opinion late last year. Absolutely wild behaviour. Good on Tanchjim for doing it right.
I’d say the majority of companies in my experience just cut off access and Tanchjim went the other way. Whoever Ben is at Tanchjim should be kept and given a raise. Lots of times reps take it upon themselves to eliminate bad narratives and suffer because of it. Tanchjim thanks to Ben will not go that route.
I do respect a company willing to listen to someone critical of their products. It means they want to grow and improve and I really like that. I hope you gave them some solid feedback this style of IEM is one of the favourites, it's like the Moondrop Kato, all metal, solid cable, swappable nozzles, great case and tip selection. It's a more premium feeling IEM compare to all the plastic/resin models we get these days that always seem to have issues with cracking or being heavily glued together.
I think the highlights of unboxing videos are the the sleeve removal streak without ripping, and the occasional rant and ramble. For sure going to pay more attention to Tanchjim moving forward because it seems to be rare these days companies really care, it's good to see when one does.
Each and every word and sentence by bggar in this video is legit. What an valuable advice to tanchjim. Very legit very appropriate. In today's highly competitive market it is very difficult to make a guy purchase a single dd set (that too with lackluster accessories) for 280$ when we have something like simgot LM and S12 pro for 80 and 125$ resp
Mature adults doing good for the hobby. I think this is so important for all of us fans. It keeps us moving forward to a higher quality product. Thank You!!!
Fair play to them, listening to feedback shows they want what's best for their company. I like the look of the Origin but when you have the EA500 LM for a third of the price it's hard to justify.
The number of harmanish tuned iems around 70-100 dollars is overwhelming. I just don't know what to buy. Do I need any of them? Do I save and get something around 200? I feel a little lost, and looking at dozens of very similar graphs doesn't seem to work for me. Market is saturated so people decided to go for safe tuned and well built iems, and Simgot offered that: a new good iem for every price bracket from 40 to 200 dollars, with good drivers, good built and tuned for the vast majority of tastes.
Tanchjim really know how to run their business, recognising that not everyone likes what they put out but are willing to take criticism on board and work with people to see how they can improve. Well done.
Well said Chris. The hobby has moved on exponentially since 2018/19. It moves so fast currently, that this year's new bright thing is often old defunct yesteryear technology within 12 months. Onwards and upwards!!!
Wow big props to Tanchjim for being mature and taking the criticism like champs. Hopefully they at on the feedback and come out with something that gets a rec later down the line.
Great video and I wholeheartedly agree that it is a rarity that a company would ask for help instead of turning away from the reviewer's feedback. Kudo's to Tanjin👍
Great analysis, in all honesty if the price was competitive I would buy a Tanchjim set. Reputation and business practices have become very important to me as a customer. Thanks for shouting out this company for doing the right thing. I will keep this in mind in the future when I'm making a purchase for an IEM.
Definitely BIG PROPS to Tanchjim for this big man move. Showed a lot of character. They've definitely earned major respect for this; including mine. That right there is a sign of a company/brand that is being led by mature, and wise leadership; and not onion-skinned bloated egos. ...this has now got me looking forward to seeing how Tanchjim will execute the advice that they got from HBB.
I have Tanchjim Tanya and still using it. Its durable, sounds okay and I can fall asleep using it without hurting my ears. I bought the Tanchjim One and I really enjoyed listening to it as its fun. I am waiting for Tanchjim Zero to arrive and see whether its a worthy successor to Tanya, its so cheap.. But for critical listening I will reach for the Simgot EW200 over the One . The pricing for the EW200 is unbelievably good for what it doles out. Looking forward to Simgot EA500LM and I hope I will stop there for a long while.
A classy company that is showing they care about delivering value to the end user versus just making money. I hope this drives them to make a great product that sells well for them.
Let's go Tanchim! What a good way to run a business and not have a huge ego. Make the changes people want seems to be the right way to go. Beautifu, simple little package and iems!
You're right, I wasn't even going to look at their products, but after this video, I am very curious about their current and forthcoming products. These are the kinds of people that deserve support, the way they treated your review.
Impressed with the demonstration on how to stand out as a company and make competitors look silly in retrospect....shows intelligence and integrity ,, at least for some individuals..
My respects to Tanchjim and to you for the response you gave to Tanchjim's action. You have shown that you care about the industry and the hobby. In any case, I plan to buy the Origin because I consider that the value of an IEM depends on its quality, its drives and its tuning but also on other subjective aspects and I have heard other experts like you speak very highly of that IEM.
Tanchjim ORIGIN vs IE 600? They seem to be similar. Neutral tuning with high levels of detail, both use One Dynamic Driver. Has anyone listened to both?
While I don't personally like this set (returned), I'm happy to know that they listen - that makes a lot of difference in this market these days and it means I'm happy to check out the next set from them.
that is very nice to know they reached out so they can improve their products. That is a company that seems like worth supporting and to buy from, when one of their sets is considered
Very interesting and cool to see that Tanchjim took your opinion and review seriously and want to improve on it. I always prefer companies and rather buy their products when they interact with their community and customers, especially if they take the criticism seriously.
Hey, in the usually crappy environment of the audio hobby, big ups to Tanchjim for still sending this out to you and communicating with you without being combative. I actually like the Ones and I hope I can own a mid to higher end Tanchjim one day that has a better value proposition than the Origin.
Bought the tanya dsp and loved the bass and its app. And been planning to buy the ola and one for my different libraries. I want to get the origin but its too steep of a price for me. In my opinion I would prefer a set with minimal packaging and accessories reducing the cost a little bit and reducing potential waste, only the IEM is whats important for me. Good for tanchjim to choose the path which will make them grow better and not dismissing critics. Also love those reviewers who still reviews products unlike others that boycott certain brands and never review again
Respect for Tanchjim. Is really nice seeing a company listing to his clients. Indeed that set looks like 4 years late. 1 DD is not my thing, I prefer multiple drivers. Also the look is generic. Maybe something with color or sparks or something. To me a set has to sound good and looks good too.
I would, in a heartbeat, buy a Tanchjim metal shell, single DD for $100. $90 would be better and $80 would be ideal, but really anything in that range, with excellent build quality and Tanchjim tech on the inside… yup. I’d blind buy it. Please offer a 4.4mm termination cable option. Thanks again HBB for saying what so many others just don’t want to.
Gizaudio has just put this set into best buy for under 300 dolars!! I have moondrop starfield and ikko oh10 and I think this set sounds better than those two for sure. This is not 80 dolars sound sir.
Nice to hear this sort of attitude. I liked how RHA used to handle things a few years ago. They had a decent warranty but wanted their faulty IEMs sent back to them in exchange for a new set. I'd assume this was R&D purposes which I think is great.
I really like the aesthetics of tanchjim sets, they look really clean (including accessories and packaging) but I don't think they match my library and my pocket... Kudos for their PR. Looking forward for the next Tanchjim sets.
Big applause for Tanchjim for acting like a respectable company. Looking forward for their future releases. Respect for both party included in this, Tanchjim and HBB, for dealing with this like a champ.
Happy Monday HBB , I just wanted to say thank you for being fair to people and for what you are doing to this community and for helping others may God bless you🔥🔥🙏🏾🙏🏾
IE200 (currently on sale for $99) is my go-to IEM and Tanchjim puts out a much larger (i.e. less comfortable for my toddler ears) IEM for $250? There's lots of
It says a lot about a company’s integrity if they are willing to reach out for help and keep a good relationship with a reviewer no matter what the reviewer says about their products.
Tanchjim seems like a legitimately good company. The irony of all this is that their response made them go from being just another face in the crowd to actually being a company I respect. In the long run it'll probably help them sell more units than what they lost by your criticisms. I don't have HBB money. I can't afford to buy everything. What I do buy has to review well and, quite honestly, has to also do well with the "feels". Tanchjim has the feels part in the bag. If specs and reviews between something of theirs and something from a competitor are pretty much identical then there's a good chance I'd now opt for the Tanchjim product BECAUSE it says Tanchjim on it.
Tanchjim has for a while absolutely nailed down the unboxing experience. They might not be as good as Simgot at the moment but I still much prefer their packaging.
Kudos to Tanchim rep, thats the propper way to listen to reviews, taking in critics to improve. 10 points to griffindor!, hope their next set its updated in techs or price range, will get something from them when you rec it
I have been a fan of Tanchjim for well over five years. It was one of the companies that was building good quality iem’s when there just weren’t that many of them. I really hope that they continue to innovate. I wish that the aesthetic on this set was a bit more pleasing to the eye. But, as long as they sound good I can look past the looks.
Respect to Tanchjim for still sending the iem and also respect to you for spending time to give them feedback. At least Tanchjim shows maturity. And their behaviour towards you also makes the company look very solid. Too bad that the mentioned iem is so highly priced. Tanchjim really created goodwill with their attitude and action. Will for sure keep them in mind for the future.
Good to hear Tanchjim is flipping the script on customer service. People who criticize aren’t necessarily haters or disrespectful, and that’s how most of Chi-Fi seems to react.
This was an unexpected turn from Tanchjim. I've been on the fence with the Tanchjim space... this kinda pushes me towards wanting to support them as a company and buying it even though I don't entirely need it for daily use.
Presentation is top notch. I agree with you 100 percent. Have the Tanchjim ones and they are excellent for the price, would give them a chance if they came out with a banger that is more in line with my price range.
That nozzle does look super long! Love my tanchjim one dsp, great to know what they did after your video saying to skip these. I agree a lot with your suggestion, pricing is much more competitive nowadays. Love how you give great advice for them!

maybe hbb needs an on-screen counter like "unboxes since last accident : 4 ". I would love to see that!
Respect for you for still unboxing a set you don't recommend. And I love the presentation and especially that carrying case.
Like how you don't trash this company. When you see promise in a company, you show your praise and respect! Nice! To me that shows "Class"!
Each and every word and sentence by bggar in this video is legit. What an valuable advice to tanchjim. Very legit very appropriate. Good to see Tanchjim trying to improve their product and asking for feedback.
This must improve their IEM tier ranking.
Respect to the company (even if just the PR person). Shows maturity and willingness to work with customers to improve. 9:48 is my favorite part
Respect HBB
I have for a long time believed the adage 'I can change xxx and hour, but how busy would I be'...
Great video man 🤙🏻
Good for Tanchjim ! Makes me want to support the company.
Mature adults doing good for the hobby. I think this is so important for all of us fans. It keeps us moving forward to a higher quality product. Thank You!!!
Great to see a company trying to improve itself using feedback from experienced people.
It is really good that they asked for feedback instead of just cutting you out. It shows a willingness to improve and listen to the customers.
Fair play to them, listening to feedback shows they want what's best for their company. I like the look of the Origin but when you have the EA500 LM for a third of the price it's hard to justify.
Very nice to see the balance on the force; there was a streak of angry videos. Congrats on tanch’ for being professionals.
Tanchjim doing it right, price might not be my cup of tea but they doing the right things
The number of harmanish tuned iems around 70-100 dollars is overwhelming. I just don't know what to buy. Do I need any of them? Do I save and get something around 200? Couldn't agree with you more about Tanchjim's willingness to listen to your feedback. It speaks volumes about their ethics.
Tanchjim really know how to run their business, recognising that not everyone likes what they put out but are willing to take criticism on board and work with people to see how they can improve. Well done.
That was very respectful of them, not everyone company is humble to ask feedback.
It's great to hear that a company is asking for suggestions in order to improve. Not everyone can take, much less ask for, feedback!
Build a family of products. That’s how a lot of companies do it. Great thoughts. Kudos to them for asking for your thoughts.
Well said Chris. The hobby has moved on exponentially since 2018/19. It moves so fast currently, that this year's new bright thing is often old defunct yesteryear technology within 12 months. Onwards and upwards!!!
Tanchjim doing great job being so communicative instead of acting like an offended child. Respect for companies like this.
Genuinely great points on how to run business in the hobby. More companies should be like what tanchjim is doing today. Listen to feedback, people
Wow big props to Tanchjim for being mature and taking the criticism like champs. Hopefully they at on the feedback and come out with something that gets a rec later down the line.
Tanchjim’s behavior here applies to other areas of life too. Good for them.
That's cool of them to send a set an ask for your advice... That's the right attitude for a company that wants to succeed!
Respect to tanchjim. Good pr takes a company so much further.
Maybe the sound of this set is not so good for the price, but I really like the packaging. Very nice cable and great white case.
Nice looking set, but the price is the barrier on this one. As Sony once said “we blinked and the market changed”
The power if the chifi is never to be underestimated. As long as it is affordable and reasonable build and sound, people will buy them in droves.
Great video and I wholeheartedly agree that it is a rarity that a company would ask for help instead of turning away from the reviewer's feedback. Kudo's to Tanjin👍

great that they had the intelligence and bravery to still send it whilst asking for feedback.
Yep, good take. Mad respect to Tanchjim for how they handled everything here.

company rank +1. nice job Tanchjim. Thanks hbb for showing us what they did. This was a win-win. (maybe even a win-win-win since we were involved.)

Hey bad guy , question about this video , so what do you think of the sound and is the price worth it ? Need your help on this.
I really like the aesthetics of tanchjim sets, they look really clean (including accessories and packaging) but I don't think they match my library and my pocket... Kudos for their PR. Looking forward for the next Tanchjim sets.
A lot of respect to Tanchjim for wanting to take a content creator’s advise on their products and not just write them off.
Big applause for Tanchjim for acting like a respectable company. Looking forward for their future releases. Respect for both party included in this, Tanchjim and HBB, for dealing with this like a champ.
Pleasantly surprised by Tanchjim's response. Not so many companies behave as pros nowadays...
Happy Monday HBB , I just wanted to say thank you for being fair to people and for what you are doing to this community and for helping others may God bless you🔥🔥🙏🏾🙏🏾
woooww kudos to Tanchjim, I can't wait for their next release after hearing inputs from the community. This is a sign of a very mature company.
I like it that Tanchjim is taking feedback from you. Let's see if they will actually listen.
Good on company to listen to thier customer and reviewer's feedback that's how u grow together
This is really great for your good gesture! Love my Tanchjim Ones, thanks Chris!
Simgot was chosen because of price vs. performance.
@@aRc11-11 totally agreed👍
Mad respect for companies that respect the community. ❤

I still think Tanchjim is more refined then Simgot…✌️🔆
Interacting with costomers feedback is best thing from tanchjim❤
Do these longer nozzles serve the same as insertion depth to accentuate or increase treble? Or not so much?
Love it when you rant! Great video Chris!
Kudos to Tanchjim. I will absolutely be keeping my eyes open for future releases from them
Respect to Tanchjim. I'm sure they will take your advice to heart and deliver. Can't wait to see what they can come up with.
Wow the origin of smoothness ❤❤❤ love their kinda of tunings ...... Talking from the old sets perspective
Respect for Tanchjim for sending the set. But yeah, the price is hard to justify with when alternatives exists for less than half the price.
Tanchjim is a reallygood brand they take time to release and keep the quality up
i respect tanchjim ... constructive criticism is always good... glad they value it
Tanchjim has for a while absolutely nailed down the unboxing experience. They might not be as good as Simgot at the moment but I still much prefer their packaging.
Great video and massive props to Tanchjim for sending stuff out after you said I dont like it. thanks as always mate
Happy that you are not shadow banned by these companies for saying your opinions.
I respect Tanchjim even more after this 👍🏽👍🏽
Kudos to Tanchim rep, thats the propper way to listen to reviews, taking in critics to improve. 10 points to griffindor!, hope their next set its updated in techs or price range, will get something from them when you rec it
Reviews like this lets me know that I made the right choice picking a channel to learn about iem’s. Great video!

At least Tanchjim shows maturity.
And their behaviour towards you also makes the company look very solid. Too bad that the mentioned iem is so highly priced.
Tanchjim really created goodwill with their attitude and action. Will for sure keep them in mind for the future.
Any chance of a video on DAC/Amp favorites at a few different price tiers?
Good to hear Tanchjim is flipping the script on customer service. People who criticize aren’t necessarily haters or disrespectful, and that’s how most of Chi-Fi seems to react.
This was an unexpected turn from Tanchjim. I've been on the fence with the Tanchjim space... this kinda pushes me towards wanting to support them as a company and buying it even though I don't entirely need it for daily use.
That company is actually dope for still giving you a set and wanting to hear feedback after you said not to buy the overpriced iem.
I think that's why they came out with 4U
Nice packaging. I think it is a good-looking set. Too bad it price is wrong for what you get. Thank you for the unboxing
Respect to both you and Tanchjim for keeping things professional. Woof.
Presentation is top notch. I agree with you 100 percent. Have the Tanchjim ones and they are excellent for the price, would give them a chance if they came out with a banger that is more in line with my price range.
I rather like your rambles shows your commitment to the hobby
That nozzle does look super long! Love my tanchjim one dsp, great to know what they did after your video saying to skip these. I agree a lot with your suggestion, pricing is much more competitive nowadays. Love how you give great advice for them!
companies that don't take bitterness of what people dislike tend to listen even more to their consumers so that they can improve and have more customers..
