Saying we ain’t baddies if our bodies ain’t done. Plz embrace your body trust me you might get negative comments but you have no idea how much you can impact a lot of us women’s life with this choice🤍 you looked up to Selena growing up and like you said there’s a lot of children with iPads and phones who can look up to you, because is not okay for 6 year old girls already hating on their bodies and instead of wanting to plan a 15 they are planning a cosmetic surgery appointment for when they get older

It is 8:30 in the morning here in Jersey and I have you on full blast in my car speaker and girl everyone around me heard you laugh 😂
I remember when I was younger & developed very early & was always very self conscious because I looked a lot different from my two sisters who took after my mom's side, & I was a lot closer to my dad's side (mom is more European roots: Spain, Netherlands etc. & my dad is Mexico, Native American roots) I started dieting very young while I was in elementary school. I feel that back then being very skinny was the only advertised beauty standard & it wasn't until I grew up & healed my relationship with food & exercised by doing things I enjoyed & not viewing it as 'working' out, that I realized true beauty comes from how you take care of & love yourself. I was surprised by how much attention I would get & compliments ( which shouldn't be your only source of validation that you rely on, but it still feels good) & the best compliments were of how happy I look & a constant one is ' you're glowing'; & it proved to me that the internal work becomes the energy you put out & in-turn how people view you & how you are 'attractive'. After that, the bad eggs will weed themselves out & the genuine people who deeply love, care & respect you will remain. I feel so comfortable in my body now & I feel it shows, it was a long journey & I have my off days ( usually around my period lol) but I think of how far I've come & how good I am to the little girl that still lives within me.
