Mannn, what a debut! As I've learned through Dak here, the amount of leveled-list injections alone is some elite work. Congrats on publishing your first F4 mod!
I know you usually feature a lot of weapon mods, so imagine my surprise when you added my vault farm to your mix. Thanks for the shout out. I'll take it as a compliment that you went to all the trouble of recreating the scene from the mod page, especially those hanging lights. What a pain in the ass those are.
Its unfortunate that so many of these weapon mods have hard requirements for Muntions, which for now seems to be abandoned by the author, and has outstanding bugs.
Holy shit, the Madsen M50 looks like something that actually belongs in Fallout 4, I mean its general weapon aesthetic. Its like a Mac 10 and a grease gun had a fugly baby, I love it lmao. The animations are stiff but the gun looks great, seems well implemented and FUCKING SUPER MUTANT ANIMATIONS!?!?! This person has a bright future ahead of them.
@@Vantud391 Outside of the Marksmen Rifle from FNV, most weapons are from the 80s or far older. But it's the general aesthetic from game to game. F4 has WW2 esque weapons that had sex with a steel brick.

More weapon mods, hehe, but that's what is popular in F4, and I never turn down the chance to toy with new mod material. A big show of hands from me, to Bryant21 for his modding debut here!
I pretty much Refused to Use Tactical Reload on XB. It has NO SUPPORT same as Bullet Counted Reload, but at least BCR in the condition it's in works. TR breaks all Vanilla Weapons.
@@generic_tough_guy.4830 BCR works with Vanilla Lever Action Rifle, and the 1's in it's Mod Description, but that's it. Oh, and if it isn't working with the Lever Action Rifle, and or 1 or all (if you have all of them) of the 1's listed. Drop the Gun on the Ground then pick it back up into your inventory, that 1 has helped many.
Am I the only one who really dislikes the low-effort CoD port mods? It's always just "yea we ripped these models and put em in game without adding anything of value to them!" and it feels like even someone making a kitbash/nifbashed weapon puts more effort into it than CoD Port 'Modders'. My understanding could be completely incorrect so feel free to correct me but they just. I dunno man everytime I see one I just skip it at this point. Feels like some other mod with more effort and love put into it deserves the spotlight more.
CoD ports (the ones that are ported correctly at least) require a number of animation work to do as well as a pretty convoluted process. The issue with ports is the cult-like audience it has, despite the authors themselves being pretty chill and humble about the work they put in.
@@Diakyuto I don't really see what 'animation work' they do, though? Cuz every single port just re-uses the animations from CoD itself, so the only work I can think the 'modder' does is maybe clean up so the animations work with Fallout's player models. Besides that, I can't possibly conceive of what 'work' needs to be done. I personally don't think it's enough to deserve it's own review covering it, especially a video where the entire last 1/3rd of the video is nothing but ports from another game. The modder doesn't actually create any of the content, so they don't deserve that kind of recognition over say a mod where someone made their own entire weapon design even if it's using nifbashed assets from the game
@@project2957 you are straight up just chatting at this point. To properly port a cod weapon, when you port it to Fo4, you essentially have certain animations to make sure that it fits standard FO4 animation standards. IE: 60 frame full auto firing animations, changing some weapon bone mumbo jumbo so your character don’t hold the gun with Parkinson’s. Ect. There’s a lot of effort that goes into these mods. If they’re not your thing, fair enough, it’s just an extremely shitty mindset of gatekeeping them getting some sort of recognition for their efforts of providing free content to a dead game. I’ve done ports, I’ve done kitbashes, ive done paid asset mods. All of them require some sort of process to make it.
Recently coming from console; everything ever ported is the heavily modern stuff. Coming to PC, I’m glad I can find super lore friendly stuff to expand Fallout 4, not change it.
Ya know, with all the cod ports, its kinda sad we've never seen some of the zombies wonder weapons get ported, as many of them would feel lore friendly, like the raygun I know a couple of wonder weapons have been made (like the wunderwaffe and techically the scavenger in that one neeher mod), but there's so many more that could be added that be both lore friendly and fun
Hi Bud. Love your videos. Do I remember right, that you used to show which of these mods were also available on xbox. If so, could you start doing that again. It really helps people. Thanks.
Hello dak I have a question I have an Xbox and every time I download mods on it it crashes multiple times. Let’s say I get a PC if I wanted my fallout to stop crashing so much what would I put in my PC?
Hey, if you make another gun mod, PLEASE make a pump shotgun that’s mag fed. I know it’s weird but as an Xbox player, my pump and lever actions have always been buggy with the bcr. Only the trench gun ever worked and I really want something a bit more modern. Also, I quite enjoyed the 890 from modern warfare 2022, and the weirdness of the gun wouldn’t be that out of the park in this universe
I wonder: are most of these mods for the release branch, or the rollback to the stable version most folks have been keeping to? Does it even matter these days much? (Aside from which version of F4SE it runs off of of course, when/as appropriate)
love the mods and the videos of otheres mod, do you have a great DMR, like i love snipers but thay are to slow or not good in a close coner and i dont like smg, so do you know a good rifle mod?
Shame fallout 4 modding is so bogged down by increasingly complicated and frustrating methods of actually installing mods. Installling f4se requires a fucking phd at this point
