To best preserve the quality of the fish meat, its best to bleed and gut the fish of its innards and place the fish on ice immediately after catching. As for the Seadoo FIshing Pro... NICE!! clearly a far better rig than going out on a kayak. Far more stable you can actually stand on either side without it tipping over, plenty of room for gear, Its almost as good as an outright boat, and yet in some ways better as a jetski cant sink even if flipped over, and it will upright itself. Im truly sold on that Seadoo.
I have the same exact sea doo and fish the Delaware and Chesapeake bays but not the ocean yet. Taking it down to Florida Keys this summer to do some ocean fishing.
I live in Sussex county Delaware near the Indian river inlet and Delaware bay! I’m deciding whether to buy a fish pro or a wave runner to start setting for offshore fishing. I go offshore tuna fishing with my dad in his boat. I’m looking to get a jet ski and do the same thing
The fish pro is king for offshore fishing they were hard to come by this year with the whole covid thing but the new line up of seadoos will come out in September so if you do decide to invest in a fish pro make sure to go to your local dealer and pre order one
Dude... you're hardcore just like me 🤣🤣🤣. I once got a jet ski and the same modification and then took it out in Miami and then while fishing for Mahi and Jack. The next thing I saw was a dam. Sharks 😡🤬 then gave up going solo again
Damn, that's sad, sorry to hear that bro but, I can tell you 1 thing...I see you already have a gaff hook and what you need is additional machete by all means just extra protection and you're good. That's your second lifeline......
So you just go out 5-7 miles-and you got a wreck your fishing or you just out in the middle of the water? Is that an oil rig in the back ground? I've always fished on structure. Do you have a depth finder or graph? And you out of corpus or Galveston or what? I usually fish out of Rock Port. I'm Texan. Born and bred. Bred in a fillin station bathroom born in a bait shop. Lol
Depending on the conditions will determine how far I go out...i always fish oil rigs I have a fish finder but only use it when fishing for red snapper....im out of matagorda Bay I live in houston. I pull offshore trips all down the gulf coast.
Man it ain't easy to fish off 1 them things. The idea of it sounds cool. But actually putting fish in the -boat - no -in the ice chest is easier said than done. But hats off to you vato.
I see most of the PWC fisherman use three seat skis. Will the two seat not work or is it simply more room on the three seat. I am looking to get started on a project ski but want to make sure a two seater would work. I would be fishing inland lakes in Michigan. Not ocean.

You take way too long getting those fish out of the water. Once you get the fish next to you gaff it ! Letting the fish swim around close to you like that is dangerous. It will draw attention to a big ass shark !!! You don't want a 10 to 12 ft. shark attacking your fish that close to you ! You could lose a foot, jet ski could be bit, producing a hole, which you will take on water and maybe sink. Or even you could be knocked over into water !! I have hooked a 12 ft. shark from a boat ! Believe me, you don't want any part of it, especially when you're on a jet ski !!!
