- Intech fans we have got you!! In preparation for Summernats we decided to do a Big Turbo Build on our Intech AU Falcon! Without a doubt this is the best sounding AU Falcon with an intech, its custom exhaust sounds incredible!

Throwback to our budget turbo setup on our AU Falcon ute, we decided to do things properly with this turbo install! We got a 6Boost manifold for the Intech and a SPICEY Hypergear turbo, paired with some Ti Performance products and a PWR Intercooler this has to be one of the best AU Falcons ever built.
What else should we do our chaser swapped AU Falcon now with a big turbo??

definitely the most unique sounding intech ever, love it!
Definitely will sound interesting at that airspeed. However I’ve tapped out 2.5 inch at 300-330rwkw about 20 times on the dyno. And even at that power you’d pick up decent power changing to something less restrictive. If you’re only chasing minimal power then that’ll be fine however :)
You’ve also plumbed the brake booster into the intercooler pipe, which has no vacuum so that won’t work,
And put the boost gauge T on the wrong side of the bleed valve. Needs to go to the intake manifold.

PWR make the coolers for 9 of the 10 F1 teams, LMP, LMD-H, DTM, pretty much every motorsport, pretty cool
You should have fitted some copper pipe in the exhaust with some piano wire under tension running down the guts of if for a truely unique “spicy ” sounding exhaust.
I would love it the exhaust to end in a Group C style Hairdryer muffler just for the shear audacity of it all.

Love it boys keep up the good work. I think you will find the old cable clutch setup and the weak pressure plates they make for the au is what is letting you down. I had 3 different clutches last one was the same the excedy cushion button all slipped 3rd gear in my boosted barra swapped au, they just dont like the torque. They make the pressure plates that weak because of the heavy clutches destroying clutch pedals and firewalls. Im fixing mine by going fg falcon turbo tr6060 gearbox and fabed up the factory hydraulic clutch pedal to suit the au pedal box and running a 2000hp rated extreme twin plate clutch overkill but its a comp drift car so I want to be able to beat on it and not worry about it. 100% recommend going that route or similar if your planning on pushing 300kw out of it. the old cable t5 clutch and box will let you down. Keen as to see how far you go with it looks and sounds amazing.

You're right about the T5 being weak, however we have seen good success with the Xtreme Organic HD clutch we sell. We also have a reinforcement plate for the firewall that prevents cracking around the clutch cable (or repairs if it's too late).

Not sure if your going to have brakes, if thats a one way valve between the booster and intake pipe, i learned the hard way brake booster needs vacuum to work not more boost 🤣 brakes will only work at idle
We quickly learnt lol we weren't thinking in the limited time we had haha
