  • I recently discovered how cool this little 1968 MGM movie by Elvis (co-starring Nancy Sinatra and Bill Bixby) really is. So, here's the trailer in high quality. Hope you like it.

Always liked this movie. I first saw it at the cinema in early 1968. I think it stands up well as a feel good movie in a glum 2020. 😊

Saw the movie on Sunday and I must say I really really really loved it! My brother just bought a '66 Dodge Charger like the one Elvis drives in the movie! :)

I'm happy you liked it! I also think it's pretty enjoyable. Out of his three race car driver films this is my favorite. Followed by Spinout and then Viva Las Vegas.

When I saw this movie at the cinema in 1968 it was the second feature of a double bill with a Man From Uncle movie called How To Steal The World which was just 2 episodes of the tv series cobbled together for the movies.Thats how far the Kings films had fallen out of favor and it was the last full soundtrack album released and sold next to nothing. The writing was on the wall. The 68 Comeback special looming.Yet it was a good movie.Elvis looked great there was some decent numbers and Nancy Sinatra made a credible costar. However it was the era of the Beatles Sgt Pepper,Jimmi Hendrix and Bob Dylan. The times they were a changing indeed.I still like it to this day.

Based upon the Elvis' music in this movie, I can tell that by 1968 his music style had changed to fit the new generation. That is, his music had some psychedelic flavor to it, gone were his Rock & Roll shades and nuances. In my point of view.

itws not his music..he didnt write songs or melodies..these terrible movie songs would have killed any other artist..but Elvis came out of it late 60s with his rep in tact after the singer special..and the whole danged thing started..all over again...

You know, this movie has two kings. King of NASCAR (Richard Petty) and King of Rock and Roll (Elvis)

Nancy looks like she has grey hair. Is that what was called frosted hair back then. A girl in the audience in elvis on tour had that grey colored hair too.

1st off I dislike musicals all musicals from wizard of oz, sound of music to grease etc. I thought Elvis was a great actor and could have made films without the need for him to break into a song every 15 mins. If they did it like the rat pack IE Frank, Sammie and Dean etc in say Oceans 11 then it would be a more believable film or more enjoyable as with all musicals it just breaks the immersion of films when in turns into a stage gig. So from watching his films or part of most of em he could have just been a straight up actor as well. Just saying.
