So glad I stumbled onto this channel - I love visiting British filming locations. Just visited Grassington, the location of Darrowby in the new All Creatures Great and Small, and other Yorkshire locations. This will be a fun channel to watch - good luck with it! Love the shout out to Julie on American Viscountess (who I have been lucky enough to get to know a bit).

Thanks so much! We absolutely love All Creatures and your trip sounds amazing. We’ve never been to Yorkshire but definitely want to go. That is so fun that you’ve gotten to know Julie. We adore her channel!! She seems like a wonderful person. We have lots of fun episodes planned. We’ll be posting on Fridays. 😊

I loved this! As someone who wants to go to England AND loves Jane Austen media, this was a perfect blend of useful information for planning a visit, and fun trivia about the movie. I will definitely revisit this when we plan our trip. Also PLEASE do this for all the Jane Austen movies/BBC mini series! I will have to dissent though on the weeping. I’ve been reading Jane Austen for about 20 years but only saw this movie this year, and I’m pretty sure I cried at that scene. I definitely saw this as the eruption of all that pain she had been holding the whole story. Dr Octavia Cox has a great analysis of the sisters and argues that Eleanor isn’t as rational as she is supposed to appear on first reading. Anyway super keen to see what else you do 😊

Thanks so much for your comment! So happy you enjoyed this. We had fun making it. I (Katie) actually have seen Dr. Cox's video and almost included some of it in the video! She had a lot of great insight. I think I probably would have liked the crying scene more if I had seen it first a little bit older. I definitely hail Emma Thompson as an acting Queen! We will absolutely be doing more Jane and BBC. Hoping to post weekly. New Episode out today. Midnight In Paris! Cheers!

@@Set-JettingSisters Now that I think about it, I cry at a lot of barely emotional scenes in movies so maybe that ones on me 😂😂 All the best with the channel. I think you've got a great concept here!

And I agree, the weeping is overdone a bit. Hattie Morahan did a better job in the BBC production.

Agree. Hattie Morahan does an excellent job in that scene. I love how she tries to stress bake while he’s talking to her. 😂
