"Plattenfummler" Elac Miracord 90

Die Plattengrößenabtastfunktion ist beim Elac Miracord einfach genial, er "fummelt" die Platten ab um die Größen der Schallplatten zu ertasten,daher auch der Name im Volksmund "Plattenfummler"

Such an interesting record player. I've seen one before that has a tone arm that detects the size of the next record from the edge of the record but never seen one that detects a record from underneath like that. What a smart record player.

Perpetuum Ebner record players recognize the size from the side of the record

Nor me. I have autochange record players but just set the size and speed of the records at the start. Tone arm just moves out of the way end of each record and the others just drop in turn.

I've never seen before that way of sensing the size of the next record, from the bottom of it!
