Hi MaryAnne, Thanks for watching! Most owners have opted to convert their pools from "chlorinated" to "Salt systems". It saves a lot of $ on chlorine costs and results in water that doesn't have that chlorine smell... remember, its still a fresh water pool, its just that a salt system replaces chlorine tablets. Look them up on the internet for more detailed info. All the best!
