Winning 6:0 against Germany in max difficulty and only letting them shoot once is a pretty good accomplisment. Don't you think? :)

So higher difficulties increase the game speed? Or its just my imagination?

I'm not sure about the speed, but the spirit recovery rate is much slower and the spirit usage is higher. Also the opponent keeps charging you so you don't have much time for super shots and harder to steal the oponent's ball
