Thank you so much for all the inspiration!!! I have been working from home for 2 l/2 years and I had just gotten in a habit of just putting on sloppy jeans and big shirts and my hair in a pony tail and barely any makeup and no jewelry. After watching your videos I have started wearing my nice clothes again and putting on my makeup and fixing my hair and even wearing my jewelry. I feel so much better each new day so I am truly inspired by your fashion ideas. I also love your skin care recommendations too. I even ordered some larger earrings from amazon. So Thank you again for your inspiration. Love and Hugs!!!🌼🌺🌹 🏵🌸
Another thing for QVC line next year… a pot with handles like the one sitting in the middle of your potager garden (inside the circular hedge) … perhaps a lightweight version that is just like it, in several sizes!
Linda you are a woman after my own heart! I have had a love affair with spray paint for many many years. I have turned trash into treasures with very little effort and money thanks to a little time and a can of spray paint. Bravo for you for making something so simple so relevant!
I purchased these beautiful little lemon cypress tress at Christmas. They came with very nice Christmas ornaments. One on each plant. I now have the ornaments on my arch/trellis, hanging. I like it. Makes me happy. They glisten in the sun and spin around.
Things I would like to see in your QVC line (although I can't buy in England 😒)... A Suffolk trug A useful outside tray Something useful for cushion storage A belt/or apron ?for carrying hand tools A stylish gardening hat A lantern (glass) cloche 🙏🙏🙏🙏
What about a sun hat & bandana scarf with your name on it for sun protection & your sense of style to add to your product line, i.e. Vera Bradley & Helen Kaminski hats?
For your QVC line, garden shoes or boots that come in WIDE sizes! I love the ankle boots you wear and they would be so good for gardening, but I am blessed with wide feet...even Sloggers are too tight. And, I appreciate that you ask our opinions.
Love the sandals idea or maybe flip flops. When I garden, I always need to take off my shoes as soon as I enter the house because they are dirty from walking in soil and mulch so something easy to take off is perfect.
Outdoor mini chandeliers for table or hanging that are battery operated and weather resistant. Farm house look or vintage antique look spray paintable to customize
I must say that I absolutely love your Chinese Snowball Viburnum, I need one!!!! I am the queen of spray paint, paint my wicker in Spring to freshen up, small tables, pot stands. I do prefer copper then the flat black. And good idea to sell those garden shoes, would like gardening tee shirts too. I always have a small car too, prefer to drive it but sometimes need to ask friends to haul stuff for me. So anxious to see your grass grow and what you plan to do for Easter. Cant wait to see my tulips and yours
I always grow grass in baskets for Easter. I line the baskets with plastic to protect them. Sometimes before I add grass i place a small “place holder” pot in the dirt. Then when easter comes, i remove the place holder and add a beautiful flowering plant into the basket and also add easter eggs. The reason I use a place holder rather than just placing a flowering plant into the basket with the grass is because I want to select the prettiest, fullest flowering plant when easter comes. You could also add a small vase or glass into the place holder spot and add fresh flowers. Hope this makes sense.
QVC PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS.. garden decor such as wind driven mobiles/wind chimes, decorative metal stakes and metal outdoor wall hangings , also outdoor proof canvas art, garden statuary that looks like stone/concrete but is made of resin, including animal statuary.
I had made 30 grass centerpieces for my son's wedding reception not thinking how difficult it would be to transport them 6 hours away. My husband had to drive his truck with flatbed covered and I had the car packed with kids, suitcases and more grass. They made it safely and I added wired flowers to them when we got there but it turned out beautiful!
Hi Linda Love your style and gardens. I have a suggestion about Qvc item. Those little plastic things that tell you what plant you purchased always fade. Could you make either plant tag covers that are neat looking to slip those in so the tag never fades or some neat wood looking tags you can write on yourself and stick in dirt with plant. Thanks Dianna
PLS ADD TO YOUR LIST: Cloches (yes), tuteurs, olive jar/oil pots (as in the center of the potager), spheres (concrete/black looking). POTAGER LOOKING GOOD! I think if you are doing gardenwear or footwear for your line it should be branded. And I need a true 10.5 or an 11. You have enough great LVisms and garden(ing) philosophies and garden lifestyle motifs that it would be fun and easy. Like that stoneware line on QVC - branded, colors, motifs - you know it's hers! It's clever. It's usable/giftable. It's moderately priced. And it's collectible. Read: Room to grow! Pun intended. I like your paint idea - you essentially made bronze and it blends well. Like your seed idea, too. I have my rye seeds from last year and added: Bunny Tails grass!! Love this outfit, too. Broken record here...LOL Love the cards: Where can we purchase them?? thx
ok, I gotta say, I absolutely love love the pattern of the brick. I drew it out (had to stop the video and study it for a minute, which is the beauty of this vlog) and the pattern of lay-out of genius. My father layed brick and block for a living, built fireplaces, front porches, etc. So I am keenly aware of art made with bricks. Love love this walkway and this is something that I can do myself. Thank you Linda for inspiration. You were not even talking about the bricks, but that is what I focused on because of my upbringing. Bricks put food on our table !
I have some pesky squirrels in my garden also. I use cayenne pepper to keep them from digging up any and every thing.. I buy it in bulk and sprinkle it quite heavily. I have to reapply. But that is ok as it really works!
Hi Linda, I would love to buy a Panama hat for “gardening-and-go” fashion. I admire your fashion sense and creativity. Please consider adding Panama hats to your list.
Love the waterproof sandals. I would get some if u sold them. Absolutely positively. Love your shows on u tube! They make my day and brighten my day! Thankyou!
We had light rain almost all day yesterday, which we did not need in the least. Ground was already saturated. Looks like very cold weather coming late in the week for much of the eastern half of the nation.
Love this video! My favorite thing in the world(other than UA-cam gardening videos) is spray paint. On the question of colors, I really like copper for an accent color; if it’s something I want to disappear I like black. Love when my garden stuff gets a green patina too! Gardening shoes- I like clogs or whatever protects my toes from dirt. A shoe that’s easy to clean is a big bonus, although I personally don’t like the “Birkenstock look”. But to each his own- that’s what makes the world go round!
What a WONDERFUL watch this was! As I've mentioned, we are in the midst of packing up one house while remodeling the family home we are moving to. I seem to always be playing "catch up" in regards to your vlogs! This morning, with a lovely cup of coffee, I curled up on the couch, opened my laptop, and commenced watching your fun and informative vlogs!! Now, if I could just figure out how to transport your FABULOUS gardens to my new backyard...LOL!! All your glorious pots FULL of spring bulbs! I can't wait to see them in bloom!! I LOVE your sandals and YES, to the idea of putting them in your QVC line! I, like you, love the look of "distressed" pots and anything garden-related. I have my work cut out for me as we make the move to the family home. There are NO gardens to speak of, but that leaves me with a clean slate to work with AND, some fun trips thrifting for items to use in the yard as well! LOVE your pots of grasses for Easter! I think I could manage that project before our move! And the great part is I can just carry that cute arrangement with me, wherever our Easter celebration takes place! Actually, that would be a darling gift for my 97-year-old Mom! As always, thank you for a great watch! Now, on to the next!! Love and blessings to you and Stewart...
For the first time I did winter sowing in milk jugs, I had success with poppies very first time. I have done with radishes and spinach and some flowers too. Thank you Linda. Happy gardening. ☝️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi, Sheila McDade here . . . in Chattanooga, TN. If any of you are like me and like to tell your family what you want for your birthday and Mother’s Day let me suggest SOUTHERN LIVING magazine (assuming you already have a copy of Linda’s book). My April edition just came today. The main reason I take it is to read Steve Bender’s amusing THE GRUMPY GARDNER and Rick Bragg’s never disappointing article on the last page. I was in Books on the Square in Oxford, MS not long ago and yelped out loud when I saw that Bragg has written several books. How could I not know that? I bought one and read it aloud to my husband as we sat on the balcony at Books on the Square. Passersby below us must have wondered where the laughter was coming from. What a great time we had! I thought I'd share that with you since I forgot what THE QUESTION OF THE DAY was . . . lol
So love the idea of one place to find garden decor items. Especially after you give us ideas on different ways to use the items. Can hardly wait to start this season.
Those note cards! Wow! 😍😍😍. For QVC…Pots always. I would love some that look like unique stone, but aren’t so heavy. And not so expensive. Gardening shoes for sure. And your book! I need to get this ordered! I so appreciate your channel!!
Marauding squirrels...such a funny image!. Thanks for the moss colour spray paint recommendation. I am going to Home Depot to get some for some grey plastic pots that have a slight light blue tinge, that shows up when they are close to our grey/green house. I figure because they are plastic the moss rubbing won't work, but I'll still do the mucky bit. I have thrown some seeds on the soil and might do some more, because, as you say, why not? Thanks again gang!
I love the idea of wire cliches for my garden. I am plagued with squirrels. On a whim, I purchased a seed packet of rainbow colored Swiss chard. I think it will add pops of color to my flower beds. Thanks againw for your inspiration.
I love your videos and always stay for your fashion of the day at the end. Have you considered putting a link when available to your fashion? Especially your jewelry? Love your ear rings.
Yes I have painted everything from birdbaths, pots, yard art and wire antique hanging baskets. Most in a dark rubbed bronze color or black. Garden looks good after clean up and trimming, Love your outfit. I know sweater was hot but you look good in yellow. Texas is finally getting a little rain. Yippee.
Thumbs up!👍🏼 I just painted with spray paint my large used Salvation Army pot find, black from white to match my two other front yard pots. I do all black out front and white and/or blue in my backyard. Love your grass idea! I have three little grands coming for Easter and I think they will love it!
Always love your ideas. I planted grass with you last year and loved it! BTW, this year gardeners like me who don’t have a large space and buy some plants at the nursery might want to rethink starting the veggies from seed. I normally buy my tomatoes, pepper, onion, squash, etc from the nursery. I was shocked that what I had been paying 2.38 per plant was now 4.99 each. I headed home with seeds to plant in my water jugs that work like a green house. I planted in the water jugs for the first time last year and it worked great! I’m going to save at least 50.00! If anyone wants to know how to plant in jugs go to UA-cam and search.
How about decorative garden hose guides for your QVC line? I have an old set that are shaped like pineapples that you could tie into your pineapple finial.
I love the look of black. It helps ground everything in the garden. Just like we have hints of black inside our homes. Copper is very nice as well. I will be spray paint a couple of resin pots that I have in black 🖤🌼🤎
Linda. I have learned so so much from you. I live in SoCal and you have similar weather as me except cold weather. I appreciate and follow and watch everything Linda vater. Thank you so much for all your knowledge and super great ideas
Yes! You are brilliant. 💗 My Gardener’s Supply cloches are getting a little rusty (I’ve had them 3 years and absolutely love them…they keep my cat out of all my raised beds) and I love your spray paint ideas. Thank you!
So fun to watch and learn from your channel. My sister told me about you and I am learning so very much. Thank you. As an older gardener (71) I find working in a raised bed or around my yard shorter tools would be wonderful. I did find a couple, I'll see how long they last. But I did not find any out in the market. Stronger than kids but small like that with a little longer handle. Maybe for your line. Just a thought. Thank you. Be well
I had once seen the Impatient Gardener, Erin throw poppy seeds on top of the snow so I tried it early on in one of my back corners & it's coming up! I was so excited because I had never tried anything like that before! I'm going to try one of your living basket/pot ideas....love it! Also, a definite 👍on the sandals!
For QVC please some garden shoes that are fully covering...I hate wet feet and a good sole so when you are in the wet they are not slippery Thanks to Stuart ( I hope I spelled his name correctly) because he does an awesome job!!
Maybe for your QVC line you can add a water feature product like a fountain or a rain chain. Perhaps a pretty, decorative water barrel. Also bird products like bird houses and bird baths. One other idea is a line of lotion-type products. My son recently bought a home and was doing some landscaping which ended with a pretty bad case of poison ivy on his arms. He found a product online to clean his skin the next time he's handling brush that could have poison in it. Just a few ideas!
Awesome video! Loved it! You have given me some great ideas for my Spring garden. Your idea to simply use a packet of seeds in an innovative way excites me to see what I can do. Also love the idea of planting pots of grasses for Easter displays. 👍🏼
You may want to try the powder brush on sunscreen instead of aerosols . It goes on wonderfully, and aerosols can be bad to breathe and for the environment.
I love all of these ideas!! You have inspired me to "freshen" many of my black garden accessories that are looking a bit washed out. One of my favorite spray paint ideas is to buy inexpensive black boot trays from the hardware store and transform them with copper spray paint. They look sophisticated at a fraction of the cost of real copper boot trays. Makes coming in and out of the mudroom more enjoyable!
Thank you so much for all the inspiration!!! I have been working from home for 2 l/2 years and I had just gotten in a habit of just putting on sloppy jeans and big shirts and my hair in a pony tail and barely any makeup and no jewelry. Love this idea!
Hi from Annie I am planting forget me not and nasturtiums it is autumn here in Australia. Thou presently have nice warm climate.
That is a great idea!
Yes! Great idea!
No Linda your yard is great the way it is .....that’s what I like about your style of gardening....
After watching this segment i weny into my garden and spray painted all my metal pieces the same color! Now i have a design language! Thank u Linda!
A cool, natural, floppy garden hat to wear, hang on the pickets, or as a wreath on the front door or shed door. 👒
Linda you are a woman after my own heart! I have had a love affair with spray paint for many many years. I have turned trash into treasures with very little effort and money thanks to a little time and a can of spray paint. Bravo for you for making something so simple so relevant!
Me too. If it can’t run away - it’ll get spray painted !!! Normally- I spray my outdoor iron furniture in May.
I purchased these beautiful little lemon cypress tress at Christmas. They came with very nice Christmas ornaments. One on each plant. I now have the ornaments on my arch/trellis, hanging. I like it. Makes me happy. They glisten in the sun and spin around.
Hi Linda, QVC suggestion: How about decorative pot feet In gray or terra-cotta? Thanks so much for all the garden inspiration.
Hair looks great today.
I've planted my tulips deep in large pots, they're popping up like crazy 🤪...I'm thinking I'll try some Zinnia seeds inside the pots along with......
Things I would like to see in your QVC line (although I can't buy in England 😒)...
A Suffolk trug
A useful outside tray
Something useful for cushion storage
A belt/or apron ?for carrying hand tools
A stylish gardening hat
A lantern (glass) cloche
🙏🙏🙏🙏
I want dishwasher shoes/sandals. Genius. Another must have.
What about a sun hat & bandana scarf with your name on it for sun protection & your sense of style to add to your product line, i.e. Vera Bradley & Helen Kaminski hats?

Great idea! Need one for my greenhouse. 💗
Yes! To the sandals!
On camera the darken cloches are more see through. You can see what’s in it better. I like that.
So many wonderful ideas! I would spray the cloches white.
Love the stands that you put your large pots on!
👍🏼 to the sandals
I am looking for 20oz garden mugs with cute sayings like Flowers or gardening is my therapy with hummingbirds and flowers on it,lol
Yes to the sandals
Some ❄ today...patiently waiting to get some spring flowers 💐 for my balcony in zone 6b.
QOTWeekend--GARDEN TOOLS !!!! Nice ones with wooden handles and your name , actual signature wood burned in the handle ! Loved this video ! 💙
Including garden gloves….

I like your paint idea - you essentially made bronze and it blends well. Like your seed idea, too.
I have my rye seeds from last year and added: Bunny Tails grass!!
Love this outfit, too. Broken record here...LOL
Love the cards: Where can we purchase them??
thx
A half trellis for a post. A column trellis. Hard to describe
I threw a packet of Sweet Williams in the ground and it was absolutely the highlight of my garden one summer...
ok, I gotta say, I absolutely love love the pattern of the brick. Don’t you just love to deconstruct things… And analyze why we like them. How lucky you are to have a brick mason in your family!
Exactly, about the squirrels!
I have some pesky squirrels in my garden also. I use cayenne pepper to keep them from digging up any and every thing.. I buy it in bulk and sprinkle it quite heavily. I have to reapply. But that is ok as it really works!
Love the sandals!!!
I love love love the blackened closhes.
I've used spray paint for many projects including a chandelier that was on sale but not the right color and floor A/C vents. Great advice.
Hi Linda, I would love to buy a Panama hat for “gardening-and-go” fashion. I admire your fashion sense and creativity. Please consider adding Panama hats to your list.
Like the black and like you I love so many finishes ..hard to pick but settled on black also.
Your yard is so beautiful
I love your car Dot.
Hi Linda, please do a vlog on how you compost..thank you for sharing your garden experiences with us ❤️
Oh fun! QVC line ideas: leather belt tool holder like the one you have, garden hat, water resistant sandels, I love your artichoke statues too.
Yesterday I pruned our hydrangea, and other late winter pruning, did some sweep up and clean up, Ontario Canada
Also I would love to see some patio furniture! It’s hard to find nice sets that aren’t the same old look we’ve seen for years. Love yours!❤️
Love the waterproof sandals. I would get some if u sold them. Absolutely positively. Love your shows on u tube! They make my day and brighten my day! Thankyou!
The closhe kinda disappeared after you painted it! I liked it!
I have planted wheat grass in pots for my kids for Easter and I put eggs in them for decoration. Fun times!!!! Diane
It's been snowing here most of the day, I am so envious of Linda's weather!
Where you at?
So sorry!
I'm done with snow!
We had light rain almost all day yesterday, which we did not need in the least. Ground was already saturated. Looks like very cold weather coming late in the week for much of the eastern half of the nation.
@@carolyost6733 I'm where the weather is too hot or too cold or just plain nasty most of the time, how about you?
I live in central illinois.
We hope we ARE DONE WITH SNOW! TOO HOT, TOO COLD, YOU MUST LIVE CLOSE TO ILLINOIS!
@@carolyost6733 I live out west! To be honest weather is a little nicer today, 😀

And a bird nesting box

For the first time I did winter sowing in milk jugs, I had success with poppies very first time. I have done with radishes and spinach and some flowers too. Thank you Linda. Happy gardening. ☝️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I am planting several packages of Morning Glories today. I have not grown Morning Glories in Florida, but they were my favorites in Kentucky.
Be careful dear! I did that and they spread EVERYWHERE!

My garden experiments are always in my head. I actually have pretty good success in containers. May you have sweet SUCCESS !!!!
For QVC, more faux terra cotta and concrete pots. For decorative purposes, faux terracotta bell-shaped cloches and rhubarb forcing cloches.
How about decorative garden hose guides for your QVC line? I have an old set that are shaped like pineapples that you could tie into your pineapple finial.
Its pure Linda 🤣🤣🤣
I love the look of black. It helps ground everything in the garden. Just like we have hints of black inside our homes. Copper is very nice as well. I will be spray paint a couple of resin pots that I have in black 🖤🌼🤎

I was so excited because I had never tried anything like that before! I'm going to try one of your living basket/pot ideas....love it! Also, a definite 👍on the sandals!
I have been hoping you would add cloches to your QVC line!
I really love your outfit today! ❤️😊
For QVC please some garden shoes that are fully covering...I hate wet feet and a good sole so when you are in the wet they are not slippery
Thanks to Stuart ( I hope I spelled his name correctly) because he does an awesome job!!
Hate QVC bur really do like Linda!
I agree with you… I love spray painting pots, etc. for a coordinated look!
Awesome video! Loved it! You have given me some great ideas for my Spring garden. Your idea to simply use a packet of seeds in an innovative way excites me to see what I can do. Also love the idea of planting pots of grasses for Easter displays. 👍🏼
Ideas for QVC items: 3 tier plant stand like the one that is now by your back door and chicken wire cloches.
You may want to try the powder brush on sunscreen instead of aerosols . It goes on wonderfully, and aerosols can be bad to breathe and for the environment.
I was just going through my cans of spray paint, trying to decide what I need to stock up on! My outdoor decor is getting a refresh!
Beautiful notecards, Gail! Wow, wow, wow!!!!!!!!😁
Happy Spring, Yay!!! Yes on the sandals. Very cute and long lasting.
Yes please do the sandles!!
Your gardens are looking great Linda🪴. The floral cards are beautiful 🌸💗🌸
Brilliant Ellen. I’m an Ellen too, but you’re smarter!😆
@@ellepienews6249 Oh, Ellen...I doubt that!!
Great idea thanks for sharing!!😊
You got me started wearing Funky Monkey sandals. They are my favorites! I love the way they fit.
Garden shoes a must have on your list!
