I came from your why we don’t speak clearly anymore video and was very impressed with not only your diction but the empathic side + advice you provided. As a 26 year old aspiring novelist i appreciate your content so much, two minutes into this video I learned I’m utilizing writing tools/skills I didn’t even know were named. Extremely helpful and valuable information you’re sharing because as much as I love writing (more than anything) being consistently grammatically correct terrifies me. I see your videos are going to make it a lot less scary, thank you!
So impressed man with you gen-z those who still care. I am Carl's gen & it is so heart warming to see you interpret in your own ways. Thank you. Thanks to people like you, Carl will live on (for a bit longer in our hearts).
Finding this channel was like striking gold. Thank you so much
Human and Civil rights are often difficult to figure out. Kudos for thinking about that.
I'd never heard this before. Yes, very contemplative and stirring. I really appreciate your videos, thanks.
'on a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam' this is sentence define earth perfectly, i mean wow
In broadcasting school, we were taught to speak in phrases, not necessarily sentences relying on commas. Sagan uses the dramatic pause better than anyone. And notice, he speaks in phrases.
As Mr. Scott would say, “that’s the ticket, Laddy…“
I love your videos.
I’d recommend adding some sound treatment to your voiceover recording area or processing the vocals with a plug-in to remove the room sound.
When you have time, pls do analysis on Sam Harris and Neil DeGrass Tyson.
I noticed all your videos of exemplary speakers are all of men? are you planning to feature some exemplary women? I am a man btw and I’ve found great speakers of all sexes and genders but I know women’s voices (and presence) are often ostracized in a male dominated public sphere.
