  • This film is a personal portrait of trumpeter Bo Nilsson, an admirable and successful trumpet teacher who has taught a number of the world's foremost trumpeters, including Håkan Hardenberger and Ole Edvard Antonsen. In the film, Bo Nilsson tells about his life as a trumpet player and as a trumpet teacher at the Malmö Academy of Music, where he still teaches despite the age of 74.
Håkan Hardenberger and some of Bo's current students participate in the film. Bo was Håkan's trumpet teacher for the first eight years before Bo sent him on as a 16-year-old to Paris to study with Pierre Thibaud. In the film, Håkan gives a warm and heartfelt picture of his former teacher and there is no doubt that Bo has played an important and significant role in his career.
