PARAGLIDING Quixada - Have The Dream (Brazil, 2015; FILM FESTIVAL Documentary)

In the documentary "Have the Dream" we follow a paragliding challenge of Veso Ovcharov and Ondrej Prochazka in Quixada, Brazil. Passionately chasing their dream they get to explore the mecca of long distance cross-country paragliding. The exceptional hospitality of Diego Dantas made the stay in his home in the small village Juatama to an authentic experience. While both arrive with big goals and records in mind, they quickly realize the challenge of flying in the rough and windy Brazilian flat lands.
The documentary portrays how PARAGLIDING brings us to visit new places and meet new friends. As Veso and Ondrej were on a tight budget traveling around the world they were lucky to get hooked up with Diego Dantas. Diego and his friends made the trip an unforgettable experience. Trading records for creating strong friendship bonds was eye opening. Less oriented on the records they start to appreciate the authenticity of the concept. They realize that on every travel we should opt to stay with locals, to get out of our comfort zone and be ready for a complete experience.

Shot by Ondrej in Brazil on the his GH4, in funky conditions and cut years later by David Prouza, rescuing forgotten images from the hard drive.
Back then, when we were still living the free life of being able to go out in the nature, go fly and freely explore all flying spots we have around the world. Let's hope we regain our freedom soon.
