Hope Hyper Car class regulation allows using diesel engine. This new class seems to have less restrictions than LMP1. No limit on engine displacement as long as the engine is production-based? That's dope.

@@gino3286 again, the teams purpose isn't someone else's entertainment. Teams are there to race, not look or sound cool. The diesel ICE was selected in the hopes of attaining greater fuel efficiency. They succeeded and, Audi specifically, went in to win 3 years in a row precisely because of their more fuel efficient diesel R10s. They, and other teams selected diesel to win the great race, not to please on lookers such as yourself.
