nice vid. looks like a good combo for the emaxx.i've gone w the 1900kv turnigy 4 pole and same esc for my old emaxx. waiting on the motor at the mo.cheers.
Hey how much did this cost all up and what model number is this E-Maxx? Cheers :) Not sure whether to get the Thunder Tiger MT4 G3 for $540 or and E-maxx roller and a cheap BL system like you have done here.
That is my alias on the forums. Before I frequented forums I had this you tube account under MapleBoarder78 when I was going through my big skateboarding phase when I was younger.
Good idea to use a safety cap to plug the hole, but I would have glued it on instead of screws. Don't how good Turnigy motors are but one things for sure, they look awesome, its a real bling looking motor!
Edward, great question. I sold that truck a long time ago but it was a good setup while I had it. I believe that motor eventually burnt out but it may have been an anomaly as I know others have had good success with those motors. I still recommend the ESC in the video. 👍🏼
Hey man. I'm doing a t maxx conversion and wanted to know how this system u bought held up? I'm ordering the same esc along with forward Only and single speed for transmission and I'll be using my castle 1415 2400kv motor. Also 2 2s turnigy lipos.
I believe there was confusion for a while with some of Traxxas’ literature describing the T-Maxx as 1/10th scale, but in side by side comparisons to other manufacturers... Mini Revo/Summit = 1/16 Slash/Rustler/Stampede = 1/10 T-maxx/Summit = 1/8
@@MapleBoarder78 that makes sense cuz a side by side with my T-Maxx and my Kraton is super close. But if you compare the slash to other 1/10 scale short course trucks, they are way bigger. So I just guessed it was the same with the T-Maxx lol
URC is a forum, I'm a forum member from there. Hence why I say, "hey this is the blue knight from ultimate rc". Your right though, it sounds weird to say it that way. I usually say "from the ultimate rc forums" so there isn't any confusion.

Great built man...Fun for the whole family..👍
Nice video. Like how it's an unboxing and driving vid, easy to watch.
It's been really great. I have even been switching it between my Emaxx and my 4wd SCT when I do more serious racing at my local track.

Great review and demo! Keep up the great work.

Hey nice setup i was wondering how much you got the motor for thanks
Awesome Vid! Out here in 2022 looking to convert my EMAXX to brushlesss, any new recommendations?
I’ve been out of the scene for a while. Good luck with your build!
What kind of run times are you getting with those bats?

Yeah, I ended up removing it a while ago and replacing it with blue duct tape. Works great!
Almost 7 yrs since this post and people still watch this video. Since the upgrades, have you made any changes or still happy with that set up?

Is this a 4 pole esc??
Hi my friend I have the same traxxas tmax and I want to do this convertion ! It’s posible to get the list of parts to do it by my self ? Thanks !
You have a tmaxx or emaxx? You said tmaxx but this conversion is for an emaxx. A tmaxx conversion to brushless is much more complicated.
@@MapleBoarder78 but it’s possible or not ?
Thanks for your response
@@jimmyramirezrobles7936 Yes u can and No it's not worth it.
I thinking about it ! Thanks
how fast do you think this will go with a 21 tooth?
Probably around 35-40mph
looks awesome man!!!!
Is the tmaxx an 1/8 scale? I thought Traxxas considered them 1/10 scale?
