CHRIS Rea egy csodálatos IKON, jó egészséget kívánok neki, és boldog 2023 évet családja körében.Meg várunk tőle egy pár szép dalt.
Everyone scrambling around for an egg gag
My dear wife is a 'Boro lass. We used to go see Mr. Rea every tour in the 1980s at Newcastle City Hall.
Absolutely love Chris and I hope he never gets like STING can't stand him And yes Chris you have a great heart
The difference between Sting and Chris Rea is, Chris Rea has talent 🤫
Chris Rea, is an absolute legend , a truly tremendous Master of His Craft , love him , always have , a true gentle man , who has astounded us by his medical history , amazing to hear , in his own words , a walking miracle , I wish him and his family a brilliant , bright , healthy and happy 2023 , Hugs

Respect to Chris rea, that guy has been through the mill health wise, I think he has a great attitude that’s what keeps him going.
"Popped an egg in a nice warm bath for you Bob" Classic Chris.
Chris said "Callestomy Bag" too. lol. Has to me a Middlesbrough
Wow you're right, all this time Bob was given a hard time unfairly. "Just a lump of meat and feathers!"
Going strong at 71 even with his somewhat 😳 health issues.
Still has his sharp wit, excellent song writer. Petrolhead too. Keep 🤘🏼 Chris
Used to go in his dad's cafe when a young un in the Boro Chris Rea LEGEND
Can you just imagine sitting in on a couple of pints with those 3 guys ? Priceless ! 😆👍🍻
Easily pleased
Yep, sitting there, a Guinness or two, a good chat with lads who aren't entitled and self-centered like a lot of people seem to be these days. 🍻
Legend has it that one night out.. Chris took Bob home and gave him a bath... and also popped an egg in it for him.
What a nice guy Chris is...
@@fingersTitan 🤣 that's exactly what I'm talking about! 👍
Love Chris and his music a great Blues man!!

If you're from Middlesbrough, you should be proud as punch to have this man as a son ❤️
Bob or Chris?
Chris is looking really well.
Chris Rea: What a lovely man!!!
Крис какой ты классный ❤!
Очень люблю Криса, восхищаюсь голосом, музыкой которую он пишет и просто потрясающим человеком! Побольше бы таких людей и мир стал бы лучше!
Surely a snowy grey syrup would be the way forward
Ti adoro Chris....x sempre nel mio cuore❤
Even though I don't understand every word.....I'm a Chris Rea fan since 1990 and very happy to see this interview. Love his music and his voice. Greetings from Germany
great to see chris
Seeing these two in the flesh and imaging Chris running a hot bath for Bob and cracking an egg into it is absolutely hilarious 😂
Big fan of Chris Rea....
Nothing but the very, very best to you and yours, Chris. Take care, bonny lad.
If Chris had pulled an egg out of his pocket...
I saw him in Wembley arena in 2008 or 2009, it was one of the best concerts I’ve been to.
Love Chris Rea. Driving home is still a classic Christmas song
God bless Chris, your music is f..k..g brilliant, please that care mate we love you .😃
I love Chris’s songs. May he, Paul and Bob stay in good health. ❤️
Middlesbrough
😊
Love Chris Rea so much❤
Ahh, wonderful video. Just enjoying it in the bath with the customary floating fried eggs, lovely.
It's raw eggs, surely!
Never a fried egg lad. Too greasy.
@@TheRevWillNotBeTelevised .. less greasy than water without egg in it?
Great guitar player, almost never gets mentioned. Kudos Mr Rea🥇
Easily the best bloke alive in the music 🎵 industry- tons of respect ✊ for his humility and honesty - hero I think!!🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Always down to earth boy next door love you Chris Rea ❤
Met Chris in a pub in Boro quite a few years ago..what a straight up down to earth guy..bought him a pint had a really good fella..
Top bloke..great guitarist..
Was or is that a wig?
@@t45tt4tr Not sure but if it's real hair then it's dyed, he's over 70!
What a legend
Happy to see Chris ! 2024 I came home for Christmas.....
When I mention Chris Rea to someone and they go, Who? I feel sorry for them because they've missed out on one of the most amazing musicians ever. Sting isn't even close.
I agree! Sting isn’t even close!
No one can compare to Chris.
@@SvetlanaAntoine-pr4gq And Sting is nasty piece of work to boot.
Despite all the health issues, Chris Rea’s hair is unchallenged. What a mane.
I think Chris is a great guy, but that's a dreadful syrup!
A wonderful clip. One of the reasons I admire Chris Rea is because he is nothing like sting.... I've been a fan for many years, his albums are never far from my turntable. Also a fan of his race driving and cars. Thanks for the wonderful music which has forged so many happy and great memories in mine and many other peoples lives. Keep fighting on Sir.
*God bless Chris Rea. Merry Christmas*
How is Chris Rea still here . Sad but happy
This is just wonderful, Chris you`re a hero, and one of the very best lad :) Bob and Paul are not to shabby either...;-)
Absolutely wonderful real life real people
What a legend!
Chris Rea's Driving Home For Christmas has been my favourite Christmas song for years. We always used to play that at the end of our last market (selling cheeses) before Christmas with both my sons. So it brings me great joy and always brings a few tears as well. You can never hear enough Chris Rea. He is the best.
indeed, so underrated. Texas is one of my favourite tracks of all time. It totally sums up that feeling of being stuck in the rat race and wanting to escape to wide open country somewhere.
Chris Rea. What a musician and seeing Bob listen was very touching. Great people.
Oh wow this is amazing, I love Chris Rae.
The legend ! Loved that raspy sound.
Paul been waiting his whole life to ask Chris if he’s driving home 😂
That's made my day. seeing Chris - a local hero of mine chatting to Bob a new hero. Talking about life and stuff. I could watch them chat on all day. Maybe Chris could pick up the guitar and blast out some of his great music. Oh and Paul is a great guy too, for a southerner lol. Stay strong and healthy guys.
I forgot that Wales is in the South.
@@thejacal2704 hes a cockney isn't he. Any way Cardiff is south isn't it lol
Bless you Chris. I think your amazing 👏. Top lad
Legend Chris. He will always be recorded in music history.
Sad to know of his medical problems.
Keep calm and carry on.
Stainsby Girls. Brilliant.
My favourite Chris Rea song. I too have kidney disease, end stage renal failure. Dialysis 3 days a week keeps me out of that cold box. I have loved your music and guitar mastery since I first saw you at the NEC, in 1985 supporting Clapton. My life changed forever at that gig.
best Christmas song ever followed very very closely by George
Genuine people.
Great advert for the NHS 😂
Three great gentlemen, well done
You can see Paul is really struggling to keep it together looking at that rug at close range😂
I did wonder he shares it with Jimmy White and the Tottenham manager
just needs to order a grey piece, would make much more sense...these oldies get too greedy trying to look young..
Chris Rea always seemed like an Alpha Male rock/pop star when I saw him on TV in the 90’s and after all he has been through he seems like more of a hero now.
Merry christmas and best wishes from Germany. Thank you for sending this video with Chris. I have not heard anything about him for a long time. He was so popular here and as a real fan (since 1978 with fool if you think it's over) I am glad to see him smile. He has to struggle a lot. May he be in acceptable shape.
I love him ❤
Absolute legend!
I’m in good company with Chris then! Gall bladder still in place, part of my pancreas gone, bile duct reconstructed, duodenum gone, partial gastrectomy, right hand of liver gone. Kidney function still good though🤪
I love you chris xxxjulie
What a lovely chat. Shame it wasn't 10x longer. Really enjoyable xx
Chris Rea is one of does great singers that get passed by i remember fool if you think its over when i was young, and never bothered to find out who sang it but i loved the song also some of his other songs i now know the man behind the voice i love coming home for Christmas i am 67 now and its the first time i ever heard it love the mans voice hope he becomes popular again now. he deserves more credit than he got .
Looking a lot better
Legend and under-rated.
Cheers Chris - chuckin' a stone from down the road to rattle YOUR windows. Cheers man.
Blimey, Chris Rea sounds like he's on the 12 step programme... I would fancy going his direction 😂
I'm driving 🕉️ for Christmas
Fond memories of the Rea's family Ice Cream shop on Linthorpe road opposite the entrance to Albert Park. 😍
I'd love for there to be an episode of Gone Fishing with Paul & Bob, with Fergal Sharkey and Chris Rea.
As a Brit living in Austria. Saw Chris at a concert in Vienna.... We just managed to get tickets for his show..... It was packed out.
The 1980s what a time wired to the moon wearing a midnight blue suit and you were the reason ,you are the man Chris
And a dead cat to top it all off
Крис Здоровье тебе и вдохновения!❤✌️
Legend
Tops all three legends!
Are you driving home 🤣👏🏻
My aunt used to accompany him to school on the bus ! Yep
Love Chris. So humble.
Boro lass here love you lads and Paul 😅
Chris rea ❤
One of my favourite memories will be watch Chris playing in Bournemouth not long after my dad passed away...he was amazing.
bob should have his own chat show he is such an amazing interviewer
Chris stay well. Your an icon and your music will live on. Brilliant man 🤗
Kindness and a chat. Best ever in the cold. :)

I’m so chuffed this came up on my utube suggestions. Chris with you two lads, what a great couple of minutes I’ve spent. Merry Christmas to you. X

Keep on rocking Chris, your spirit and heart make up for the other bits failing. xx
Chris Rea…. “Driving home for Christmas” will be playing for generations…. For the next 1,000’s years! Funny how so many wonderful songs have been written during great adversity and tragedy! Thanks Chris! Merry Christmas! 😎
