Instead of talking at the guy beating you, message him and tell him that he’s good, say GG, and tell him that you’d like to play with him sometime. A lot of people will take that as a friendly surprise, since so many people just start shit talking the guy stomping them, and you’ll get that invite and end up improving. Granted there are some cheaters, but most of the time you’re just getting beat. I got absolutely nasty at sniping in Halo 3 by doing this
