I just ordered one last night, luckily it doesn’t ship until October, my birthday is in that month so I can consider it a present to myself, and my girlfriend can’t complain about “more guns”! 😂😂
Hunting but what you do after buying is on you but intended used is for target shooting fun or hunting. No manufacturers designed these for intended use on home defense but if the product will ethically take a large animal you can decide whether or not to use it as a viable option in an emergency situation. Not to butt in on your question to Bin but I think I answered your question in a manner that any Business in this line of work would and should. Ty
The latter, as indicated in that most all UA-cam reviews, tech talk, and tips n' trick videos related to AEA and BinTac "high power" airguns DO NOT talk about airguns and "ammo" in a hunting context. In contrast, most channels do talk about the featured airgun's self-defense attributes. 😁 It's either that or there sure are a lot of new hunters in the big cities nowadays.
@@Alloutairguns my question wasn’t about pcp. It’s pertaining to this model PCP with it being a version of a pump shotgun. You usually wouldn’t use an shotgun for hunting
@@mohamedkallon1491 Don't use shoguns for hunting who told you that BS??? Plus this pcp is not a shot gun. The .50 cal could fire shot shells but the shotgun is coming soon
I have a megalodon 510. It was working beautifully for over 50 shots or so, but now......even after a 4500psi fill, it shoots very weak until it gets down to 4000 psi, and then it becomes super powerful again. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? Some people say that it is a valve or pressure lock, but my gun never did this before. Also, the gun is rated to 4500psi, so why would it shoot so weak at 4500 psi? Thanks.
Only fill it to 4000. 4500 does not mean more power. Yes it will hydro lock the valve , think of it this way. The more air the more it fights the valve. This is the way all air guns work unless regulated.
@@GRoy-h8y "This is the way all air guns work"? I fired 40 rounds through this bran new and it did not use to do this. Also, I have other pcp that like 4500 psi without issue. Lastly, I take the bolt off and it fires with full power from 4500psi EVERYTIME! This is a clear malfunction with the bolt pin rubbing and not allowing pin to strike at full force!
@@GRoy-h8y If you had bothered to read my other comments(they are all right here in a row)you would have been educated, and would have known that the bolt pin is NOT THE PROBLEM! You almost seem offended that I have complained about this air rifle, but suck it up and be a man! We shouldn't have to grind down a $1000.00 pcp to make it function properly. You should be much more offended that there have been several attempts to contact both AEA and Bintac over the last 3 months, but clearly they're hiding from addressing this issue! The problem is public knowledge by now, so AEA and Bintac are fully aware, but continue to hide. Make sure you read my comments before responding next time, are you clear boss?
Bin, so I found out the size of the tanks and I see the calibers and barrel lengths. Any change we can get a universal fill probe on the rear tank and a regulator!
The problem you describe is that the valve no longer closes properly. A few others in the forum and I have written about this and, after disassembling the Megalodon, found that the valve spring is not strong enough. In a test, we clamped a new spring in a holder and compressed it several times. We could see that the spring lost length after a short time, which also reduced the tightness of the valve. I live in Germany, and we all have the 7.5 joule version. The problem occurs more often there. Someone already sent his Megalodon to GoGun and reported that the fault was in the valve. GoGun then polished all the friction surfaces of the valve, and it worked again. You can also install a stronger spring, which we are currently working on. Unfortunately, this is not so easy, as we have to be careful not to exceed 7.5 joules. If you need any further assistance or pictures of the valve or instructions, please let me know and I will send you my email address. Best regards from Germany" ✌️
Contact BinTac directly sir his email should be under his channel name and description, at least I think this might be the proper way to resolve your issue from your location.
Ok listen. Just came in from shooting the Meg! It is not only the bolt pin, this is very aggravating. I was even a little below 4500 psi, maybe about 4300, and the first 4 shots pooped out of the barrel, WITHOUT THE BOLT HANDLE! I have not shot anywhere near enough through this gun to need a new hammer spring so that is NOT the problem. Now, it is even being inconsistent on me. Guess I will fill a 4500psi gun to 3800-3900psi. Pisses me off though!
That's what I'm saying. It took me two days to get the magazine in, and now it's stuck in there because the pump handle won't go all the way in either direction.

Where can we get a replacement valve pin for Megalodon .510? No one seems to have them!
7000psi upgrade coming for this too?
What watch u have on it is nice 😊
Where is the hammer spring, and how to adjust it?
Will there be a 51 cal of this new gun?
Just ordered mine from bluegrass. Was going to get the t nine but was told you couldn't add a buttstock yet. Which seems strange
Is this for Hunting? Or defending
