Various AMCs which are providing Nifty Index Funds have different NAV ? Could you please tell me how is NAV different for same index fund of various AMCs ?
Hi Dinesh. Comparing NAVs of mutual funds is a waste of time. The NAVs may be different based on the base year. However, if you compare the returns of two related index funds with different NAVs during a fixed time frame, the returns will be almost similar. For the funds with the same portfolio, all will deliver the same returns, no matter what their NAVs may be.
Are index funds considered to be safe in this pandemic situation? Because there is a huge uncertainty risk in Nifty50 & Sensex points. Is it necessary to withdraw our index fund investment? pls clarify.
I hv two question 1. Can a minor invest in indian stock market 2. Now a days people have started investing through app like paytm money.. My question whats are the pros n cons investing through app like paytm and through d mat account.. If you have any vedio on this topic plz share link
1) Yes, minors can invest in Indian share market. In the case of minors, you need to open a trading account with a guardian/parent. However, all the brokers don't provide this facility and therefore you may have to research a little to find one. 2) You do not need a demat account for investing in mutual funds. However, for investing directly in stocks, you'll need one. Further, I've not tried Paytm Money app yet. However, their rating on playstore is not good -- 3.5/5. Please read the reviews before opting to invest through their app as it will give you an idea of issues that the users are facing.
