Is Tarraxo a new style of dance or an evolved way of dancing Tarraxinha? Is it necessary to learn Tarraxinha before learning Tarraxo? Would love some feedback from you guys.
I remember being "in the scene" a couple of years ago and there was no mention of tarraxo vs. tarraxa. None at all! Now they are both a thing and they are different? No way do I believe that crap, they're just trying to sell classes and courses. Back then it was, I think, tarraxa was the music and/or tarraxhina was the movement, not a style, but a small move or "step" within Kizomba...which really had already been oversexualized and repackaged to be sold to us suckers. Nel!

I mean, I don't care about how they choose to dance/step but hearing them say it's a different dance because one is Tarraxa and the other is Tarraxo, to me it's scamming people. This Channel is open to all style which relate to the kizomba scene! They are a lot of demo also for urban-kiz. I miss a little bit of some Semba Moves or Demos that will make it integrated approach. For me it is clearly basic Kizomba step on count 1 and on count 2 plus as she said a small styling or I can say Tarraxinha. I thought those are the names for the step itself, and that they're evolving into separate dances while they can still be fused in together and into kizomba.
You are correct in saying Tarraxinha Tarraxo is a dance with no big tarraxa and far apart body or Semba’ish Kizomba. Best to put it is Kizomba turned into UrbanKiz not much Kizomba so in a way Tarraxa/Tarraxinha turned into an electrifying connnected Tarraxo not much Kizomba.
