I was stuck as a child in a roach infested apartment in Takoma Park, MD, abused in multiple ways by my biological mother. I had no TV, couldn't go outside, sparse furniture and rarely food but I was allowed to listen to a handful of songs/albums over and over again. This album (and song) was one of them. I literally know every breath of this song nearly 40 years later. Pastor Phipps has no idea the way God used him to keep a little girl alive and kicking.
