Bob Mintzer feat. by WDR BIG BAND - Mintzer's Very Personal | Part 1/2

Since the beginning of the 2016 / 2017 season, Bob Mintzer has been in front of the WDR Big Band as chief conductor and directly arranges his compositions especially for the band members of the WDR BIG BAND with the program "Mintzer's Very Personal". Thus, in this concert, the WDR BIG BAND presents itself to the audience with outstanding solo interludes embedded in Mintzer's arrangements. Recorded at the LYZ concert hall in Lüdenscheid in March 2017.

Bob mintzer, este grandisimo director impresionante, como dirige ha estos genios de la música,, es decir la pureza de la música de hoy, y del pasado da gusto hoirlos ha todos cada uno en su especialidad son todos unos prodigiosos en el arte de la música,,, una perfección de como contar una melodia y despertar en el público unas sensaciones imposibles de esplicar,, hay que estar en frente de esta maravillosa orquesta y verlos de cerca para sentir unas sensaciones maravillosas.... Bob mintzer esta entre los más grandes xaso tenor del siglo 20 y del siglo 21..

Reiner Böhm, what a great piano player! Such a pleasure to hear such mastery from everyone! EDIT: Oh and may I say that Andy Hunter is the most incredible Trombonist I have ever heard...everyone in the band was smiling and this doesn't happen unless the soloist is happening! Andy Hunter has incredible musical sensibilities and ridiculous articulation! Unbelievably impressive!
