#RaspberryPi5 #Case #Pironman
Popping through the video now, I have one on the way and would like to see if the sum is greater than the parts!
I saw your video on the other cases, so it would be great to see your take on the Pironman 5 and how it scores too! Thanks for subscribing too!
I've just built mine, and the back 2 fans are different in my kit, and the screws hold them solidly.
Excellent!
Very nice but still no camera breakout. So, IMO not worth the price doubling and especially since it's Gen2 NVMe.
I was thinking that as well.
nice case Kevin. What peeked my interest was the software you are using on your M1 Macbook to connect to your iPhone’s camera. Can you enlighten me please?
Great question - I use Ecamm live (its a Mac only app, monthly subscription) for livestreaming. Its live OBS but much easier to use and setup. The iPhone automatically appears as a camera option due to the Hand-off capabilities of macOS, making it easy to bring that camera source into the livestream.
@@kevinmcaleer28 thank you for your answer 👍. I was doing some research and hoped it might be supported on my M1 iPad Pro, but the same functionality is not available. I was seriously impressed because of the image stabilisation feature as you turned the iPhone through various planes. Totally enjoyed that bit, plus it was a good review.
8:24 wow, a $6000 monitor for a Pi :)) I mean there’s no other computer plugged in, looks like they clearly want to say that the Pi is the main “driver” for that $5k Apple Pro Display XDR with the $1k stand.
I am pretty new to the raspberry pi I have mostly used it for emulation. With this case would it be possible to get the screen to work while using something like retropie or batocera?
Yes to Retropie! Not tried batocera to be honest!
24:31 why does the display show 2 ip addresses? How is that possible?
Well the Pi has 2 network ports - one for WiFi and one for the Ethernet.
Hi all! Will the Pironman 5 display work on Android 14?
Should do - the hdmi micro to standard size is just a metal converter, no electronics or special drivers required
No PCIe 3 is a deal breaker for me
