Wow, L U I! I have always been impressed by your videos. They are very well planned and put together even better. But a massive salute on your closing. A proper description of the biggest money makers to the sport of bodybuilding. We are guys with work and/or school on a DAILY. We just happen to lift. Roelly Winklaar is my favorite body builder. I wish him the best. My dream however would indeed be to look similar to Peter Molnar rather than "Bu Bundar" if that's even how it's spelled. I only recently became an actual subscriber of yours. Peter Molnar is my fav too, and it's awesome how i wrote to him a couple of years ago and he replied the same day and sent me a friend request on facebook with his personal account.
Being incredibly gentle and humble with his fans will bring him a lot of love from the internet once he'll become as famous as he deserve.
I prefer the classic, golden era physique. Bodybuilding should show the muscles flowing in a aesthetically pleasing manner not just some fucking huge muscle bulging out so much that it triggers our "freak interest" instinct. we lose the 'beauty' of the body when you take it past aesthetic level in my opinion

I 100% agree with you that there should be a separate category for male bodybuilding....call the physique class the figure class (cause thats what it is) and call the new category the physique class...
Keep doing what you are doing Lui. I stopped following bodybuilding in the late 90s when the pregnant belly freaks took over. Perhaps aesthetics in bodybuilding will return when more and more proponents like yourself step forward and have a voice in professional bodybuilding.

This was very interesting Lui! I agree with you, it would make a lot more sense to have a "Classic" category. I don't really like the Physique category, I don't think they look strong enough, but I also think that the freaks' bodies don't look very harmonious at all.

There has been a "Classic Bodybuilding" Category in Europe's IFBB for years now. It's literally called "Classic Bodybuilding" / "Olympic Bodybuilding!"

You're absolutely rigt! Molnar Peter is and it was very famous in the past years ,and he said that he wanted to become more likely a bodybuilder with estetics ,a classic great bodybuilder.
My view as a casual fan of body building is I'd rather see a specimen or freak of a human being with mass then the slimmer more aesthetic body builder. But I also want mass without the sacrifice of a good waistline. No big guts. That Peter Molner guy is a perfect representation for what I'd like to see as a fan. An aesthetic freak

agreed lui, two different categories is the way forward. I've only recently become interested in the sport and I'm a novice but it's seems obvious to a rookie like me that two categories would please everyone. I personally love old school aesthetics, but appreciate the freaks too and I'd like to see both. great channel by the way I'm learning lots here. big thumbs up!

I personally like the superhuman striated mass monster look with flat stomach over a smaller physique style for Mr Olympic or any competition. The reason being you can see great physiques everywhere nowadays, magazines, social media, TV adverts, but when you see those huuuge guys like Big Ron, Big Ray and Really Winklaar it is just truly amazing and I think it would be a great shame to ever lose that.
Sometimes less is more but not for bodybuilding. I want to see who can build the biggest and best body.

I think that Bob Paris is the perfection in aesthetics, no one can beat him talking about proportions, its like a work of art. Like a Picasso, its the overall, the composition, the mix of colours, its art. No matter the size of the canvas or the quantity of the paint added. BB is like creating an statue, the proportions, like the auric proportion in arquitecture, the Partenon is the perfection for its proportions not for its size.

Cedric looks great ! I'm just getting back into following BB and he's the only guy that I say I wanna look like that, he motivated me to get back into the gym. All the mass freaks I know there's a lot of hard work into that but I've never once said I wanna look like that. Cedric if he won the O would get a lot of people back into the gym

Never even realized how much Dorian put on size in one year holy fuck. Its just fucking amazing since he was huge to start with. Much more impressive than some beginner that hop on juice and grow super fast in a year when he still has that "noob" effect and would put on size fast even naturally.
Hello Lui, good video, I like the way you analyse athletes and the sport in general. Personally i don't think they should invent yet another category. They might want to think about changing "the rules of engagement" like they do in F1 for example, where they change the technical specs of the cars every so often. Physiques that are not aesthetically pleasing should not be rewarded. I think we all agree that the sport of bodybuilding is not only about mass, or at least it shouldn't be. What we see a lot in today's top athletes are swollen muscle belly's which cause a lack of depth and separation in the muscles (things you only get by many years of training). Think about the biceps of Boyer Coe or Albert Beckles: where do we see that kind of quality and muscle separation in today's athletes? I think a guy like Molnar should have his place on the top level stage (reminds me of Berry De Mey or Gary Strydom - talking about mass and symmetry). Same goes for Cedric Mc Millan who maybe needs to work a bit on that final bit of conditioning (glutes, lower back) and balance out a few weaker spots. Just my humble view on things... ben pakulski trains with perfect form and all that stuff and he looks not that good,,,simeon panda and ulisess train heavy with bad form like branch warren deadlifting and they have smaller waist than arnold and serge nubret...so genetics play BIG role
LUI loved this and agree completely. I miss genuine aesthetics, thats why I fell in love with body building, it's why I train. Not for these bloated oversized guys, much respect to them but i feel something is being lost.
You are completely correct, as you are in all of your videos. I'm just starting to get more into weight lifting, and I want to have a physique, or if I go too far, a classic Arnold style body. Will you do another non-stim pre/intra workout, similar to your first one? First one is the business, but really not into stim based products. If i need caffeine i choose to pop a caffeine pill as i use/reserve them for enduro sports. A good night sleep is all i need for a gym session so your version one fits the bill perfectly!
