Lu Ban chinese locks! Very interesting! I didn't know that a chinese puzzle could be an art masterpiece! Keep it living, and teach it to young people! It develops intelligence and logic! Bravo!
It is ancient lost knowledge to assemble wood without nails or glue.Very ecological marvelous way.IKEA, you should learn from Chinese their way with wood, they are the best!🌻
This types of intangible cultural heritages are the things that makes China Chinese. This is traditional Chinese culture, preserved and passed on from generation to generation.
"I WILL HAVE ORDER"
Rachel is good at this!! She is charming and energetic and, most of all, very real!! Hope to see more of her work!
first time i see her on CGTN
@@icanida8221 me too. She is a natural!
her speaking is actually really good, too! this is coming from a native speaker :)
She doesn't need to apologise and put herself down in every sentence though.
China is amazing and beautiful country in the world ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Are you Indian??
👍'New horizons should never mean discarding the past.' You can't have what is ahead without what was behind or a present without a past. Heritage, culture and wisdom are the building blocks of any good civilisation. Skilled crafts and craftsmen or women ! 👍
Totally agree with this. You are truly a man of great wisdom. Just like a tree cannot survive without its roots. We humans cannot survive without our culture and history.
also where the Chinese idiom 班門弄斧 (playing with axes in front of Lu Ban's front gate AKA amateur trying to brag to an expert) comes from.
Actually not Lu Ban but Liu Bang as Liu Bang was the founder of the Han dynasty and he was one of the 2 rebel forces that overthrew the powerful Qin dynasty and subsequently defeated Xiang Yu (in the 4 years of Chu-Han wars). As a well-known strategist, warrior, of course trying to show off one's skill in axe in front of Liu Bang is a joke.
@@rogerfaint499 魯班(Lu Ban) thus the 班. the idiom is not 邦門弄斧 as in 劉邦(Liu Bang).
@@BenjiSun Hehehe, from Singapore, didn't pay attention to spelling. Thank you.
@@rogerfaint499 this is a story of some so so axeman trying to show off his skills, not knowing he's actually showing off in front of Lu Ban's house.
Seems like a fine educational toy. It develops both creativity and logical thought. Hope it becomes more wide spread.
I bet Genshin Impact inspired by this :D
You are right.
Did you know that many Koreans during the silla dynasty of Korea went to China tang dynasty to learn Chinese traditional crafts and cultures. Chinese intangible cultural crafts passed down since the ancient Chinese dynasty. Confucius a Chinese poet and has many descendants who went to silla Korea and spread Chinese cultural art in silla Korea.

Lu Ban Lock or Puzzle is also known as Kongming Lock. China Premier Li gave a Lu Ban Lock as a present to Merkel during a visited to German in 2014.
I wonder if there is a message behind that gesture?
@@freenationalEasy to break but to build, it's difficult.
I see Rachel. I click video.
Tendo bansho!
I have 24 designs of these luban locks. Of which I have the Hero Lock & the Big Three Links in both the wooden & plastic versions. The rest are all plaatic versions. I prefer the Qiyi brand plastic versions bcoz they fit snugly when assembled unlike the wooden ones which are loose.
Interesting
Really good to see more foreigners speaking chinese.
you faking it. I know you from the past comment.
@@Zen-cd7yq Uhh not really dude. Just my views on china are far more complex then what you think. Why would I fake it, what do I gain from posting this comment? Think before typing
He use traditional tool too.
I love these reports, make me so proud of China, and im not even a chinese.
awesome!
有意思但是没时间
Wonderful reportage, wondering if there is a way to buy original peace’s of this Luban Lock in Europe. I searched many sites and only see cheap machine made paces available. Thanks for any suggestions!
You can find hand crafted makers from imported puzzles online rather than going straight to Chinese sites, there's luban, and wooden box Japanese puzzles but they are pricey
🌹
Is there any way to buy a good quality luban lock online? The ones in the video look good but not sure where to get one.
I think you can buy them on AliExpress. Just search Lu Ban Lock or Kong Ming Lock.
@@liisuu3 I did but would like to have one of better quality to display at home.
If you are looking for quality versions of these luban locks. I recommend the Qiyi brand plastic versions. They are smooth to handle & fits snugly when assembled unlike the traditional versions which tends to be loose.
Kumars are angry birds!
Orange Soul is fake. He is saying nice thing here however if you go back to his past comments you will soon find out. In diot snake!
it's female tucker carlson
It's a shame to focus on the carpentry, rather than the high dimensional topology aspect of this problem.
Haha that too
He invented the modern saw too. He was cut with a leaf with dents, so he decided to copy its structure and made the first modern saw blade.
Yes I want too try(Love puzzels) but your links are very Murdoch. That's the fourt crappy click bait BS.
