A lot people still haven't seen this match. Many did watch it Live and were surprised when I won. I feel like if you compare this to my match earlier in the day vs Whaz its a night and day difference with how much better I'm playing. I hope you all enjoy this, its a bit of an exclusive. More matches are coming, with some new content arriving in 2025 😎
Dude...as this video started, I thought to myself: "Sib has the *perfect* voice for commentary". Then you go and leave me in the silence...the weirdest coitus interruptus ever...
Haha I appreciate that. I did do commentary a few times for Challenger events. Maybe I could reupload this and do commentary about the match and why it was important. I'd love to do more commentary or upload content like that. That's why in 2025 I am planning to do some conversational type content about Quake if that sounds interesting to you.
@@SIBquake the thing I look forward to most when I watch a match is the commentators explain game mechanics and the current meta. Doing the play-by-play is nice and all, but the thing that grows a community and brings in new people is explaining what the players are doing and why. I've made this comment on other channels (like Starcraft and Mortal Kombat for example) and some of the replies I got from other viewers were stuff like "why don't you google it?" Or "dude, this game is 10 years old". That's fine for hardcore fans of the game that already watch the videos, but for new people who may get their first Quake champions match recommended "today", having commentators explain the mechanics, current meta and player strengths/weaknesses raises the chances they would click on "tomorrow's" video as well. Great recent matches btw - you've absolutely stomped the competition in the matches I've had the pleasure of watching so far :) them rail percentages are crazy!
@@spltorky Well thank you for your input. If I have another game that doesn't have any commentary then I will try doing it. Maybe I will reupload this Nosfa match in the future and talk about it. I agree though, its better to have this stuff explained for people than to tell people "google it." I appreciate the feedback
I will try if I have any footage that has no commentary, or I will reupload this sometime in the future and add my own commentary. Thanks for the feedback. Whenever we have Quake tournaments I will try to do commentary on them as well.
