Dear Qaiyum, Thank you for your comment. To be honest I do not know the MX70. I have downloaded the manual, and it is a bit better than the manual of the HMX100. I don't think I can answer your question because I do not know the way of input in the MX70. I do not know what RTx is. The way of putting titles in the mixer might be the same procedure as with the HMX100. In the MX70 manual you can find info on DSK's on page 46. I hope that helps! In the setup mode, choose audio/video, press ENTER and make your desired settings. In the DSK FADE mode select your input, make sure you present it (so you can see the screen you want to capture) and in write mode press ENTER. Hope this is the answer to your question. Question for you. Do you have separate control of the audio faders when using the XLR inputs? After reading the manual over and over, it sounds like when a video source is selected, you can only get the audio coming from that source and not any of the others. is that true? It doesn't show how to hook up external MICS.
I need to insert a small company logo as a bug in the corner of the screen to remain permanently during the program. I had hoped to do it as a downstream key, so that I could still fade in lower third name IDs as a second key (that will be a luma key). How do I set this up so that the bug remains in the corner? I'm pretty sure that the switcher is capable of the simultaneous keys, but the Panasonic manuals are somewhat vague and confusing. Any help that anyone could offer would be most appreciated.

Anyways, my question to you is, is it that you save the stills to the switcher?
Dear Lawrence, You are right. I present the DSK-title bar with Keynote (full screen) to the input of the mixer. Then I save them (inside the Mixer). When the power is turned off, you lose the 'screenshots' and you have to save them again in the mixer. Hope this helps!

dj BACHWA Dear Bachwa, If I understand your question correct, my answer is: I do not think that you can mix SD AND HD. So either choose SD of choose all inputs HD. Maybe you could check page 19 volume 1 of the HMX100 manual. On the bottom of the page see HD/SD Settings. Let me know is this helps!
