Whether Sahara or Siberia - the expedition vehicle EX 480 drives you safely and comfortably through very rough terrain.
The model EX 480 is an all-terrain long-distance travel vehicle, built on a Mercedes Benz Atego chassis 1023/1024 all-wheel drive with an excellent engine of 170kW/231HP or 175kW/238HP.
The vehicle impresses with a modern, comfortably equipped and very spacious cab. Clearly arranged controls and plenty of storage including bottle and cup holders are ideal for long trips. The air-suspended comfort swing seats offer a high level of seating comfort even on long and rough roads. The electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, tinted windows, sun visor and much more gives the rugged all-wheel drive vehicle a lot of comfort in the cabin.
But the most important thing is a sophisticated technology that ensures high reliability. The extremely stable vehicle frame, good corrosion protection and robust engines stand for durability.
The cabin is mounted on the Atego chassis by means of a sturdy intermediate frame that is firmly connected to the cabin but can be moved in relation to the vehicle frame by means of a 6-fold elastic mounting. It allows the vehicle to be strongly folded in the terrain. The rear fold-up underride guard ensures full preservation of the slope angle. With this equipment, the EX 480 has excellent driving characteristics even in difficult terrain.
The bimobil living cabin is extremely stable and yet relatively light in construction. Inside, the bimobil cabin impresses with its bright friendly style and the best quality workmanship.
The Luminum interior combines delicately grained maple veneer with real metal-aluminum coated door panels, framed with solid maple trim. The interior is given a refined character by the light materials, yet proves to be extremely robust in practice. Worth mentioning is the high-quality flooring and the easy-care and hard-wearing sisal covering of the benches. The color-coordinated upholstery and curtain fabrics round off the charm of our living cabins. The attention to detail and the high quality workmanship make every bimobil a noble piece that conveys the pleasure of mobile living.
All models are equipped with hanging lockers, seat storage lockers, linen locker, closet. But also things of daily use find their place. Dishes, pots, pans, supplies can be neatly stored in the area of the kitchen block. Cutlery disappears in the cutlery drawer.
The sanitary rooms are bright and functionally furnished and equipped with many storage possibilities. The waterproof glued, color-coated built-in elements are stable and withstand long use. The colors, whether discreet or colorful, can be chosen individually. High-quality chrome fittings, and, of course matching, the bar system with towel holders give the shower-washroom the final touch.

Ich liebe die Art von Stefan Christner, der einfach über alles erhaben ist und scheinbar durch nichts aus der Ruhe zu bringen ist! Er braucht nicht viele Worte um sein Produkt zu beschreiben und man merkt ihm an, dass er aus dem Stehgreif sämtliche Daten, Vorzüge und wahrscheinlich auch die Spaltmaße der Schränke aufzählen könnte. Immer nur dann was sagen, wenn es Sinnvoll ist und korrigieren wenn was falsch ist.. Noch dazu ein Weltreisender der tolle und durchdachte Autos auf den Markt bringt. Leider nicht ganz in meiner finanziellen Reichweite... Aber toll zu sehen was alles möglich ist.

Innerhalb einer Minute ist die Tür weg. Soviel zum Thema Sicherheit, weil immer erzählt wird dass die Verriegelung so toll ist…
Ich denke was wirklich sicheres gibt es ohnehin nicht.
Ein BiMobil wäre mein absoluter Traum.
