Man, I cannot wait for the Sbassbears’ remix of “Cumstains (Mostly Mine)” somewhere down the line…
Reading this comment before I got to that part of the video was quite a punch in the funny bone, let me tell ya.
I love the idea of the parenthetical being the nsfw part
Mostly Mine (Cumstains)
Ya'll ever get so invested in an episode that you just sit there and don't laugh at anything they say, hoping they won't notice that it's time for next time on game grumps like a kid watching TV at 9pm hoping your parents don't notice it's past your bed time
We're getting closer and closer to "Simulation game Simulator" in which you simulate the experience of playing a simulation game.
It's already happened, nearly a decade ago, it's called Job Simulator.
there were basically a few of those a bunch of years back. UA-camr's Life being the big one. simulation games were definitely one of the genres you could play. it counts.
@@Bingo_Dingo_Dango Job Simulator was a kind of parody though, not serious. It was very cartoony and goofy.
“This ain’t a joke, this ain’t a dance, it’s like 1976 in my pants!” What is the threat?!!?😂
I NEED no - i REQUIRE the sbassbear remix IMMEDIATLY hes going to COOK with this one I can feel it
honestly such a fire line, dan can put out some bars some times, he should think about getting into music/song writing, I think he go could places
I can't wait to hear Dan and Arin go "I don't even remember singing during this episode" in a few months when sbassbear releases Mostly Mine and What's the Threat.
"How did they make the hole?" Got me good. It's such an unexpectly good question about a sand dumping pit.
I love how the Simulator games on Steam range from "bottom shelf discount garbage that was churned out in 2 hours by some foreign corporation for a quick buck"
To
"Two friends or a small team of people made this as a passion project and put WAY too much thought into it and it's super wholesome."
It's like the opposite of how it usually goes with open-world survival early-access games.
This game is truly that and I love seeing all the updates, patches and dlc they've done and have teased, the animations could be worked on but its not really the focal point and the games funny and thrives in a lot of other ways. I'm excited for the Junkyard dlc and their other games Road diner sim and Motel sim.
Man that takes me back. I remember sitting in my first car with the love of my life watching the sunset back in 96 when "Mostly mine" played on the radio.
Same here, man. Hey, remember when that same artist made another song "Unshaved Pubes" around the same time? What was his name.. Stinky Sammy or something?
You know?...Out of all the things I was expecting out of this simulator...I was NOT expecting Santa Claus. Christmas in July really does exist...
Context, this is Arin's Uncle (That writer who yells "BUY MY BOOKS") giving Arin a Gas Station
I love to see Arin and Dan singing about their pubes while painting and a customer is just sitting there waiting for service a solid couple minutes lol
Thanks to you guys, I'm playing that damn Supermarket Simulator. After YEARS of swearing I'd never work retail again.
The little questionmark indicator is trying its hardest.
Right after Dan mentioned Molly Hatchet I started singing "flirting with disaster" and we were perfectly synced when he chimed in! 40:36
Dan owning and operating a different gas station in sympathy with each dinosaur quest he went on made Arin eventually figure out where to drop his sand like it was hot.
I haven’t got to this part yet, so I just wanna say your sentence is WILD.
Game:"I'll send you advice on how to run the business, so be sure to pay attention!"
Oh no. Arin's one weakness!
I like how Arin talking about how this is supposed to take place in the 80's, then turns around and buys the stuff he needs off the Internet
"I fired, and I missed" immediately that whole bit popped into my head seeing Arin miss the dumpster AND Dennis from point blank range 😂
Love to see the Grumps play a Simulator, but whatever happened to the promised second episode of Fernbus Simulator or our beloved Internet Cafe and Supermarket?
A grump simulator game needs a tutorial but all the text gets immediately skipped.
they said more supermarket for sure but i hope they do more of the other two! fernbus made me DIE laughing
A song about a ghost Santa rolling through this gas station was not on my bingo card for today, but I'm not mad about it
Arin do not be ashamed of your Butthead impersonation, it's absolutely on point. Please do it more often lmao. Huhuhh huhuhh, that'd be cool 😎
I know nothing about this game, but since it’s a simulator game, this episode will be a 10/10 and I’ll be mad when they only do 3 episodes.
P.S.- I’m 40 hours into Supermarket Simulator. That games great.
I'm thoroughly impressed with how well that game functions and how much content there is for early acess
im gonna be sad if they dont even see the party bus or other events cause they only do 3 eps, I need to see their gas station empire, and the island boat dlc, and the airstrip dlc. I just recently got supermarket sim and I'm barely 3 hours in and ik I'm gonna love it more when I get further into it, my only complaint is you have the timer of the day and it goes by so fast. If you ever have the same problem as that then gas station sim is what you're looking for (not dogging on supermarket sim, its already great in its own way). Its more of an endless sim feeling, a longer cycle, and for me that's more satisfying, I got supermarket sim for the exact opposite reason though, quick days, easy to open and play for a bit but not commit too much time to. But seriously pick up the base game and try it out cause if your a sim fan, you're gonna love it.
Ghost Elvis was truly a sight to behold.
I know they can't always do Simulator games, but man are they so fun to watch and listen to. Super happy to see they'll do more Supermarket Simulator too!
Dan just premonitioning two things instantly in the playthrough... getting backstabbed by family and aliens
Gotta love Arin struggling to do things while the game literally shows him what he needs to do AND where to go to do it AND HOW to do it... But he STILL struggles.
Arin Hanson never change. ☠️☠️
Every time they play these games I'm reminded that Arin has tunnel vision and only notices the things moving on screen. Even if the text is right in the CENTER of the screen he won't see it.
god im so sick of that emoji. you people don't even use it the "right" way that the first idiots who started it used it.
@@miguelnewmexico8641 May the worst problem in your life be the emojis other people use on UA-cam comments,
@@LazyDogJumper it's something I've noticed with a lot of my friends who have ADHD, they effectively have text blindness. it really doesn't matter how blatantly obvious text is on the player's screen, if a human person doesn't tell them to stop and read it, they won't ever notice it is there in the first place.
These simulation games really increase their songs for their album that sassbear produces lol.
20:23
As an Oregon resident, I can confirm that self-service gas pumps are a relatively new development. Like, just a few months. It was a weird adjustment going from other states where you pump your own gas (Cali, Arizona, Utah, Nevada), but got used to it not long after moving here 14 years ago. In any case, only a few places are offering both kinds of service- I don't think any place here is strictly self-service.
[after video]
Well. Sbassbear is gonna have a lot of ammo after this one...
My cats missing and I’m having a hard time but this video n lunch r definitely helping, thanks y’all
@@enoch4499 preferably alive. hey, i know that's what you meant, but you never know who's got a monkey's paw just waiting to use that thing!
It really is impressive how Arin can find a way to struggle with finding the "Delivery" button for a solid 2 minutes. It's like, Arin, please, the menu has 12 options, you can spare the mental bandwidth to scan them all before you start just clicking stuff.
"How do I read my mail?!"
"Do you have to go back to the computer?"
"No! It should just be here!"
Always listen to Dan, Arin. Just listen to him, for the love of everyone's sanity.
My favorite part of this video was the constant screen tearing that just went completely unnoticed. 10/10 grumps
Sbassbear is gonna have a fucking field day with this episode
Simulation games are back on the menu boys first it was grocery stores now it’s gas stations let’s go
Of course Arin doesn’t know Molly Hatchet he only ever listens to melancholy and the infinite sadness
I cannot wait for the Sbassbear remix
I just love how Arin's response to any hint or suggestion Dan makes is an immediate "No"
The amount of work the game designers of all these simulator games do is crazy to me. They're so involved.
I’ve made some demos in unreal engine, I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of it is templates, tbh.
@@mythologigi oh yeah, with how jank the majority of the sim games are, they're almost all asset flips
@@burnin8able they prob put them together in a few days. props to them, it prob helps them learn the program + depending on if they charge money, they can make some passive income. Makes me feel a little dumb for NOT doing it. Plus possibly getting my game featured on Grumps? Let’s fuckin goooo.
@@mythologigi a lot of these simulators are not asset flips. That's not to say they don't use premium assets, but a lot of work goes into this. Many big individual systems (many potentially marketplace) glued together with a bunch of smaller systems.
There are textures, models, skyboxes, animations, sounds, etc that are easy to spot in most cases. The rc car? Probably a modified car controller asset. Less, but still hours. Don't forget the world's high scores for a mini game, so now you're implementing another service.
The front loader, the fueling system, trash/bags, painting, sweeping, and customizing (a lot of these require shader work, either custom or 3rd party again), quest/mission system, inventory/shops, GHOST SANTA CLAUSE??, etc.
And that's the first 10 minutes of the game, the mid-game systems are quite a bit more advanced. This developer has a few similar games with different themes and they're all probably built on top of a shared framework. Which, speaking of passive income. That's how you do it. Gas station simulator has many dlcs. 🫰
Sorry tl;dr probably quite a few 3rd party assets, still a ton of work. More than a few days by a lot.
You know everyone be eatin their guns for dinner on the good ol’ 66
Earlier today I watched Markiplier's play of this game from 2 years ago, and then this pops up...The world works in mysterious ways.
grumps vids do that to me all the time. When Dan said “for sah-lay”, a notification for a message from someone I hadn’t heard from in years popped up on my screen. Their last name is Saleh. A few weeks ago, I was grocery shopping with my husband in the frozen section, saw the breakfast stuff and started singing that “do you like waffles?” song. Hadn’t even thought of it in like a decade. The next day, Arin sings it in that day’s upload. I’ve had so many more crazy, grump-related coincidences. Are the boys prophets for my life? haha
17:25 I imagined the gas truck pulling up to the pump and saying "Fill er' up". and using every bit of gas he just delivered to fill his reservoir back up.
Can't wait for the full "Cum Stains" song to be on the next NSP or Starbomb album.
You can actually use the lock pick on any of the vehicles that stop by. Not only will you need to serve gas but also service customers in store and run an auto repair shop. Game gets crazy
The grumps operating a gas station?
Sounds explosive.
Anything is possible when Arin is at the wheel, and skips all the tutorials and doesn't read anything! 👍👍
Jerrycan... But what if Jerry can't?
they really got a simulator for everything...when is kissing your dad simulator coming out? I MEAN....ummmm...unless?
Makes my heart happy that we are getting more simulator games AND Dingdangromper 3 this month. Ya'll spoil us.
Sbassbear is gonna have a field day with this episode. 😂
My simulator game fixation is being fueled by too many youtubers at once and i am NOT complaining.
You just know Sbassbear is gonna get their hands on their "haven't shaved my pubes in a while" song and turn it into something worth gooning to.
Back in 05 in Minnesota I became good friends with a bear I named Jeremiah I stayed with him through the winter cuddled up in his warm fur. I spent 5 years with Jeremiah
"Was there people squatting in here?"
*Dennis noises instantly play in my head*
Time to watch Arin yeet cars with a broom.
Always love an Oregon mention! We did recently change to have "full service pumps" and "pwease pump my gas for me mister" pumps.
Crazy that's what they're actually called.
This is one of THE BEST simulator games out there, please please play more of it
nah we need 20 episodes of this. seriously
Route 66 goes through my town and it's just a normal street everyone uses regularly. Here it's just called Foothill
I wouldn't mind more of this game. It's got a pretty sweet atmosphere and looks more polished than other sim games
GameGrumps Lunch Break Chronicles, Day 189:
All I got are some goldfish crackers for a snack today. Pretty good but it’s a Monday. 7/10.
I've got mini carrots and pistachios. I feel like a deer or a bunny perhaps.
If you guys ever play this again, you should try taking out the broom and walking up to a car with it out. Produces nonstop fun.
Wait until they find out what happens when you use the broom on a car. No one will ever get gas again. 😂
Arin: Opens a gas station
Driver: Pulls up next to the pump.
Arin: "What the hell does this guy want?"
I was kinda hoping theyd do more Supermarket Simulator. Never before have I downloaded and become obsessed with a ridiculous sim game than I did with that one after they played it. My lil corner store "Jizzy Breads" has become quite the talk of the town.
I genuinely enjoy these type of games, they are relaxing and the good ones will gradually add more and more content to the games. You would be surprised how many small indie simulator games actually have alot of background content that does a good job of keeping the game feeling progressive and rewarding after the long grind
Wow, I can't wait for the Sbassbear remix of The Cum Stain Song
Arin has two modes and two modes only:
"yeah, yeah, yeah, I get it- skip. ....FUCK why didn't anyone TELL ME???"
and "I must paint every single surface available in the game one single color and I cannot do anything else until this task is complete"
Having Arin break down over the idea of filling a gas can and needing to go to a computer to read the mail on the computer is truly peak Arin.
Dan’s lyrical ability is out of this world 😂 “my pubes are the labyrinth of the Minotaur” might be the greatest lyrical combination of our generation.
I'm convinced we are just forcing the grumps to work for us now through several different means atp
Goodness me, I hope Sbassbear hears this one; I absolutely need a full musical remix of The Cum Song and/or The Ballad of the Pubeman
SBASSBEAR PLEASE you know what you must do
Yay! Thank you for playing the game I suggested! I don’t know if you’re playing it because I suggested it or because you found it through supermarket simulator, but thanks anyways. By the way, if you guys decide to do a second episode of this game, I have a suggestion for something funny you can do. If you equip the broom and go near a car you can use the broom to fling the car around and make it go flying. :)
I can't wait to hear them say that they don't remember singing in this playthrough in like a year when Cumstains (Mostly Mine) drops.
I'm so happy you're doing this game!!!!
Honestly I would watch an entire series of this game
this feels like old grumps. fantastic energy. i hope they play even more
oh my god please play more of this i love these games
New song for their album Mostly Mine.
My favorite episodes are the Internet Cafe simulator. I know this is going to be the same where it's only a few episodes so that makes me appreciate them even more lol I love the "business simulator " games they play 😂
27:15 “Wait! That’s a load Berenstain!”
Can’t unhear it now.
5:34
Uncle: "Do make sure to pay attention."
Arin: "What was that?"
On queue as usual
Just you, me, and thousands of other people hanging out in a simulation
I HOPE that this becomes a series SO BAD. It's a great game, and I feel like they'd have a blast with it.
The gas station simulator sign logo just looks like the power ranger belt buckle to me XD
"Im the Gas Ranger"
Has a dead dino in the background lmao
It's destroying my soul that there is no option to sort the waste for recyclables and compostables, items that can be reused, re-homed, upcycled, renovated, etc.
Day 545 of me commenting on Game Grumps videos until Dan and Arin play Danganronpa V3
Why do people do comments like these? They’re annoying. Let people play what they want to play at their own pace ffs
You didn’t see the other video a couple of days ago of them saying they were going to play it?
This was a great episode. Really hope you guys run with this for a while.
They won't remember singing in this episode until Sbassbear makes a classic rock/3rd wave ska remix called "Check my Pubes"
YES! This is my favorite simulator game!
Please keep playing this, at least until you encounter the alligator!
me when they posted this: i work at a gas station what the heck do i care about this video
me now, having watched this: omg i wanna play gas station simulator
Dennis? What are you doing at my gas station? Get outta here...... GET OUTTA HERE!
You can always rely on Arin Hanson to ask "What do I do?" when the game tells him exactly what to do.
Just so you know, we are going to record new Supermarket Simulator episodes soon! We see your love of Grumps Grocery.
HELL YEAH THANK YOU!!
yES
You mean our love of Grumps entirely.
LETS FUCKING GO!!!
Will you also record new Pizza Tower episodes, too?
