      Mhm too much reliance on MSM, which is why the OSB (Online Safety Bill) went through parliament and passed without as so much as a hiccup of resistance from the public. Something our illustrious MPs often depend on for their nonsense bills.

    Proportional Representation from where I am looking only benefits the Party System and not the people. In Ireland it has left us with leaders who were defeated in their own constituencies, as they we’re extremely unpopular, and then dragged into power by transferred votes from fellow Party members who had been doing the job well. I can’t see the benefit.

      @@colinmartin2921 Early days, more money on campaigning to be spent closer to the election. The Brexit Party won a nationally voted on election in just 9 weeks.
      UKIP took years, but didn't have GB News or TalkTV, neither were the electorate at the time active on social media.
      If you want to help, get involved, help campaign, donate, stand, whatever.

    I just don't trust him, had a unique chance to change the dichotomy of politics in the UK and just gave up insight of victory.
    Now there are rumours of him being brought back into the Tories....

    • @adventofknowledge
      @adventofknowledge 10 місяців тому

      Well first of all, he wouldn't be able to change anything or even effect change properly without being elected and his own borough was propagandised against him by all other parties. Next is the election system, it doesn't matter how many votes you get across the nation as much as where in the nation you get them. I.e 4 million votes can still only result in 1 MP. Where as 1,000,000 can result in 3-5 depending on which borough and where.
      He will never rejoin the tories, he was let in to try and galvanise the base who support him utterly but the conservative MPs would find a way to throw him out of their system. He wouldn't last long. But then he doesn't want to be with them either.
      Your lack of trust is misplaced frankly.

      @kharnt.betrayer2946 10 місяців тому +5

      That's a problem for anyone who wants to make change.
      The two main parties keep an armlock on their respective issues, actually the Tories have been better than Labour at this given how the Lib Dems and Greens take some of the progressive vote, so you can start your own party but with a remote chance of even getting an MP or you can join one of the two main ones and try to influence their direction, either way you're going to struggle.

      @@mikefish8226 No it would not... don't be deluded. Proportional representation would give representation to communists, fascists and national socialists... all of whom are not "right-wing"... plus you can not have Proportional representation and a properly functioning parliamentary government system, like England always had... before new labour that is.
      You will not get a "truly right-wing party" in government with the ability to actually control legislation and thus have law making power with Proportional representation, you will only get coalitions...and that limits law making power... do you not even remember the lib-con coalition?... no mate, you need one party in government and *only* one, to actually control legislation and thus have law making power... if government is divided, it can't do shit... that's useful if government is repressing us Englishmen,.. not so useful when we are trying to repeal everything new labour did and restore our ancient traditional English constitution... and not just get in to parliament, let alone government.
