Pyro's defense melt is actually useful its just that accelerator ignores defense so it is actually effective if your dps was g minis or engineer. also the pyro has a unique targeting system where it targets the targetted enemy that is not on fire and if all enemies are on fire, it attacks the targetted enemy. the cyromancer targets normally by hitting the first enemy

im ngl cryo is extremely reminiscent of the old pyro maybe its their way of bringing it back since the community wanted it along with the return of a largely forgotten 2019 boss and a rework of an event tower and beginner (now intermediate) tower thats been begged for for years this is what happens when a game actually gets genuine long term competition and realizes they cant just be lazy and slack off anymore and actually need to work hard to keep the players in their game instead of the competitor

Gold Pyro is dominant over Cryo in solo/duo play but is still really fucking good in trios and squads like Cryo. Jester is far superior to Cryomancer in everyday (better DPS potential with his poison and confusion bombs.)

enginner's half of dps can target leads and damage them at max (the rockets and the main gun) and g mini and mini get at lvl 3 lead penetration
