Got my CPC at age 47, I’m thinking about the CPMA but not sure if I can retain the information/ take test at my big age of 50 next year. I already work for the VA but I see the auditors get paid more to do less in my opinion. 🤷🏾♀️
0:51 umm wow, I had to pause to read all those alphabet soup worth of credentials 😂 that’s the most I’ve ever seen my my professional career. Well worth it I’m sure
Hello, I am currently working for a dental office and learning how to submit claims using dental codes, however I would like to gain more experience, would you have any suggestions on how or where to find medical coding internships? Are they available remotely? Any advice is appreciated!
I am just struggling to finish my course. I am a displaced worker and taking coding and billing through WIOA. I have a nursing background and transcription background but I am so struggling with the guidelines. I think I got it and then, nope! I know this will take time for me and I am not going to be perfect, but sometimes I wonder if I will ever get it. I am going to go through all your videos, eventually, and hopefully that will help. Thank you!
Do you think AAPC will offer something comparable to the CHDA offered by AHIMA? This is for the healthcare data analyst. I currently have my CPC and CRC
Dual credentialed & considering dropping my AAPC credentials since I don’t want to pay 2 memberships. Inpatient coder with CCS & sitting for CDIP soon. Any advice?
For me it was the COC (outpatient facility coding) then the CPMA (auditing) after I got my CPC. I attempted the CIC (inpatient coding), but failed out 😢
What if I have looked into Auditing and I have zero interest in it at all? I am an HCC Coder and I enjoy it very much. It seems some companies out there seem to think that Risk Adjustment Coders either are or want to be Auditors and force it on their Coders. This is making me regret my choice to be an HCC Coder. I don't even want to try for my CRC anymore because of this.😥
@@ContempoCoding Hey im doing the preppy program, do you think it would be enough to go straight for the ccs? i currently work in doing auths inpatient for ER and L&D for last 2 years
Passed my CPC exam today, thank you for all you do!!!
@@klotzmannico me too! 10/7! Congratulations! 🥳
So happy I found your channel! What resources would you use to study for CPC
