Concur, if someone says they're shopping elsewhere because of Eli's demeanor, jokes, jargon, etc., they (more than likely) won't buy ANY higher end 1911. They're probably a Tisas/Gisan/RIA/etc. tier buyer only. (Not dissing those makers, but they ARE a bit lower in price than ACM... Just sayin...) While Eli's "stage presence" isn't necessarily my pint of stout, I think he's doing well riding for the the brand. Keep it up. All that said, ACM is on my bucket list. I'm 55, retired Army and starting to transition back to 1911s. As a lil' feller, I learned on Ruger Single Actions (.22LR and .357) and a Remington pump .22. I bought my first pistol, a 1911 (made in 1917) at 21 years of age from a former Vietnam SF friend. Also got heavily into leveractions. I got up to 9 or 10 1911s at one point ranging from a 1st gen Kimber to a NHC GRP but sold almost all of them off (not my first 1911, 1sg gen Kimber, SAAs or Levers though) and got into Glocks and ARs. Now I've sold most of my Glocks and getting back into 1911s. My list of desired 1911s is short but ACM is on it. Keep yer powder dry. Dave
I have been a 1911 fan and carried one almost daily for the last 34 years. Personally, I find it refreshing to see a 25-year-old in the business that is so passionate about the platform! Great seeing you two have fun with it. Absolutely true that you have to get new shooters and younger shooters interested in the 1911....It's too amazing of a gun to let it die. You two together remind me of the guns you build....traditional foundation and tradition mixed with modern and efficient enhancements that only improve performance. Keep doing what you're doing!
Watching Eli over the past few months have brought on a resurgence for the desire to own 1911/2011's. I just recently picked up two more to add to my collection. Unfortunately, they are not ACW or Cabot. Maybe one day finances will allow it. Love the content. Keep it going. Best to y'all from NC.
As soon as I saw the title, I knew this was going to be a good one. Let me start off with this: I know this isn’t going to happen, BUT, don’t change anything that you all are doing. I love the videos. The banter is fun. The guns are phenomenal. Everything is 10/10 in my book. Second. In the words of one of my best friends: “If you have haters, you must be doing something right!” All these people complaining, must not know the expression of the word “fun”, and take life entirely too serious to get any joy out of it. I own multiple high end 1911’s. Eli is very entertaining and makes me want to purchase a 1911 from Alchemy. I don’t know why so many people have to be negative and have to worry about peoples opinions so much. Eli, keep being yourself, I enjoy the humor and fun you bring to the videos.

As someone who is 31 I really enjoy your videos and I really enjoy the 1911/2011 platform. I do just wish it was easier for someone to get into the platform. That's why big polymer has the younger generation right now it's cheaper to be a player.

The best way to get younger people into the 1911s is to make them affordable. A young person is not gonna spend $2,000 to $3,000 on a handgun. I am a 32 year old that only carries 1911s but the most expensive one I have cost me $750.
As a 25 y/o, I understand that, but we could not make our quality of pistol at that price point. We have over 20 hours of hand work that go into our guns. It's like telling Ferrari that the only way to get young people into Ferraris is to produce a car for $30,000.

The best way to get younger people into the 1911s is to make them affordable. A young person is not gonna spend $2,000 to $3,000 on a handgun. I am a 32 year old that only carries 1911s but the most expensive one I have cost me $750.
As a 25 y/o, I understand that, but we could not make our quality of pistol at that price point. We have over 20 hours of hand work that go into our guns. It's like telling Ferrari that the only way to get young people into Ferraris is to produce a car for $30,000.
