Despite his loss in the semi-final, it makes me pretty happy to see Wade performing this well yet again. He may appear still relatively young and well, he is, but in fact he is still able to play darts on the highest level since like forever, one of the most experienced Players on the tour. It makes me pretty hopeful that he can achieve some more major titles in the forseeable future.
This is weird to see: Wade being let down by his doubling (espacially D10) when his scoring was easily good enough to win.
I know right... quite ironic, cause Wade every so often loses a match when he plays 100+ average. But his typical performances around 95 average and like 50% on the doubles are usally enough, because of his terrific timing... which was not quite here on display, despite his 150 and 130 high finishes.

He did hit his first 180 in the quarter Final against Mervyn King to be honest

Watched the highlights and was anxious to see the entire match. Just WOW!!! Hopefully, Wade can keep playing at this level. It would be great to see him back in the Top 10 by year end.
Saw this match live on television and oh boy still come back to watch it to this day. James Wade was just fantastic with 10 180's. Love the way he positions his darts before every throw. Awesome match gentlemen! Thank you PDC!

Soooo happy to See James back in form, on any other day he could have won the hole tournament. I really wish he could win the world's just once as then he's done the lot. Plus, I love the way he slaps Wayne Mardle into to shape in interviews when he's talking shite when he a 10 x major champion.
Such a shame that wadey lost that one because final compared to this was disgusting standard
