Gene Kelly & Frank Sinatra in their trio of movies together: Anchors Aweigh, Take Me Out to the Ballgame, and On the Town.
Whether they were sailors out on a pass or ball players searching for dates, the boys (and a few girls) were lookin’ to “Shoop,” and sometimes found love.
Betty Garrett and Pamela Britton pursued the shy Frank, and Kathryn Grayson, Vera Ellen and Esther Williams won the heart of the confused “Sea-wolf” Gene.
