hi I have a question. cpu limited frequency for ram is 2900. two 3200 doesn't work, but after i add one 4gig 2600 stick all three they work in single channel, i thought cpu would default rams to 2900 but it doesn't even boot without 3rd stick.

Nice video! Finally what I was looking for. After your words I want to buy 32 GB RAM. But can you tell me how can I check how much Mhz my motherboard will handle? Greetings
Download and install a software called HWinfo. When you open it, on the left, click on memory and look under Current memory clock and multiply it by 2. Look also under Maximum supported memory clock. If you can't get the info, get your chipset version and google: "chipset name" chipset max ram speed. Exemple, if your PC's chipset is AMD B550, google: amd b550 chipset max ram speed

There is already a built in ram of 4GB @2666mhz, the built in is installed permanently in the motherboard. There is only one slot of removable ram, if I mix it with 16GB of ram @3200mhz, will it work?

You were getting an FPS of around 150 and only utilizing around 12GB of RAM. How? What system were you gaming on? When I play PUBg, my Framework 13 i5-13Gen Win 11, 4TB SAMSUNG 990 Pro, 64 GB Corsair RAM utilizes around 22GB of RAM. The System alone probably uses around 12-14GB. Then again, PUBg doesn't use that much, though overall system use hits that high when playing. How did you get such high FPS? What system are you on and what are the specs?

I'm having this issue right now as well and I think I figured it out.. for me at least. My CPU and MOBO can only go 2400mhz but with xmp I can boost it to 3200mhz which is what my ram is, so that's what I did for a while.. until the crashing started.. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why it was crashing until I put some slower (2400mhz) ram in the system. I believe the faster ram was causing extra stress on the rest of the PC including / potentially overheating the cpu and ram slots. I have not had a crash since installing the slower ram..it's only been about a week though. *note* I did try the faster ram without XMP on and was still crashing before I tried using the slower ram. I think it may have damaged the ram. Again.. no crashes since installing the slower ram.
