Exactly the same scenario situation when Oliver Bearman took the lead from Frederik Vesti seconds after the Saftey Car came out from a major crash in turn one on the last few laps of the Formula 2 Baku Sprint Race in 2023.

That cant be right, how could Hulk got overtaken. He prepared to stop, as you have to when double-yellow is out, but Hamilton and Bearman came with such an speed from behind, I mean Hamilton was already alongside even before the green flag, they both clearly didnt prepared to stop. Its a clear penalty for me. Wasnt Hulkenberg more than 4-5 seconds ahead when they got over the line two corners before?
@@Favattack Think about it. It's called a chain of causality. Without the accident perez saint would have been in p11 and the accident caused him to drop back again. If there hadn't been the accident, he probably wouldn't have lost the two places, but only to Hamilton
ah yes, red flag the race in lap 50 so we can have another finish like australia 2023 where race control had to figure out for an hour in which order they want everyone to finish and then have them drive one more "lap to the grid" right to the chequered flag, surely that would be a fantastic solution that nobody would hate
Nah the VSC is usefully in scenarios that take a minute to clean up, rather than wasting everyone’s time and ruining drivers races deploying the whole safety car. The issue is the delay in making a decision, it was obvious they needed to do something yet they waited and waited. When there’s a crash they should really immediately deploy VSC and then upgrade to full SC or red flag if necessary.
@@BlackL0tus1992 they have a dashboard in the steering wheel that shows where they have flags or not. Apparently Nico in his frustration about hitting debris didn't see that had a green flag after the crash. Mistake by FIA. You can't have half straight double yellows and the other half green.
He's 11th in the driver's standings with more than double the amount of points as his teammate, Magnussen. What on earth are you talking about? He's had a really good season.

he hit debris so he was worried about his front wing and propably missed the green flag in his steering screen

@@domatdom it wasn't the damage. He just missed the green flag. You can see that after they pass them he accelerates just fine.
more like hulk slowed down for the yellows and clearing the debris and hamilton started racing before the green sector
