Just swapped all of my last ETH and swapped it into AMS69X. Already up a little bit. Unfortunately I have some other junk staked which won’t free up for a while. Still now I am on the train!
I bought Nvidia on May 30th at the absolute peak early that day at $1,150... literally 7 seconds later it dropped to like $1,080 (intraday)... it took a few days to recover and now its at $1,318.8 (really at $131,88 due to the split) but my point is, its never too late to get in, if you are waiting a 20% dip, it may never happen or maybe when the stock is at $200 and it dips to $160. Yes, you bought at the dip but its way way way more expensive than if you just bought it now. TIME IN THE MARKET will always beat timing the market.
@@mdmoz1777 Could be, no one knows but if you buy now at $132 and exactly that happens and to make it worst, you decide to take the loss and sell, you'd still be profiting over 50% in 3 years, which is 20% more than the S&P500 so again, TIME IN THE MARKET will always beat timing the market.
Semi conductors are a cyclical business. Once growth slows, even if it grows still, stock can take a hit. There could be a lot of sellers and it may be hard to get out. Most companies can't continue to grow at this rate indefinately. There is still runway for Nvidia, but it won't be growing continuously.
I wish I had an investment mindset when I was in my teens and twenties. My parents didn’t either, so they had no knowledge to pass down. I don’t have kids so I’m helping my nieces and nephews build good financial habits so there’s a change in our family’s mindset going forward. Better late than never, and can’t change the past. The amount of investment information just wasn’t available back then, so I get it. I remember when I bought my first stock. I went to a local broker in person and paid with $1000 cash. How times have changed.
Same, I've just started at 60 😂 My parents held their savings in a low interest savings account. I'm hoping to teach my little granddaughter when she's older
I’ve been buying NVDA and TSM. I figure the better NVDA does, the more business TSM will get. TSM is also building a massive factory in Arizona as a result of the Chips Act. What do you guys think about Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM)?
Market always tend to move toward to what people believe. If people belive next quarters will also come along with good results then the price will be more than that in the future, so, people want to buy from now with cheaper price.
The market already reflects what is expected. You have to determine if that is off or not. If you think that is wrong and u see the fair value lower...then buy the stock. A lot is already baked in usually. Over time prices move based on whether or not investors forecasts were good or not..and earnings are better or worse than invs projected. If company does better than invs thought...price goes up more. Stocks always look forward. They typically move ahead of earnings They can fall before earnings do Invs set the price..based on their view of future. All ab anticipation. Market pre prices next 3 to 30 months. All the widely known info creates the stock price and it is based on future projections. That is a lil better description here. And if those projections or beliefs r wrong and company does worse than investors thought it would...the stock price falls. But in short term the market can be a voting machine...long run..weighing machine.
Can't wait for the shareholder meeting. Also I have shares of Micron Technology and they are reporting on the 26th. They are riding the AI wave too so I hope their earnings and NVDA meeting make both stocks pop!

Wasn’t Nvidia like $30 in the beginning of 2023? If stocks soared that fast and went up to $1200 before the split I don’t see why it won’t reach $1200 again.

Market cap are to big for big gains.. look at small caps, in the parabolic run the micro caps will give insane gains! AMS69X has crazy potential for a small cap. This is the accumulating phase
Look at the rest of the magnificent 7, They are all trading at 180 to 200 to share, With the exception of Microsoft, that’s about 450. I understand that there’s a lot more than share price that goes into value in the stock but when it comes to buying multiple shares of something at 130 a share, NVIDIA looks a lot cheaper/better choice

I wouldnt be suprised at all if Nvidia would start its own Human Robotics manufacture process. Either they buy some of the top companies or then they make their own N robots. Let see.
Jensen is smart enough not to do that. Nvidia builds the foundation for other companies to build on top. Nvidia won't compete with other robotic companies.
