Haven't seen this many guys get shelled since 'Nam.
Foolish Baseball no
You really thought you had somethin with this
😂
Foolish Baseball bruh, amazing!
Foolish Baseball did you like how penultimate was defined for you
Blowing a 3 run lead by giving up 30 unanswered runs to a last place team? Yep that sounds like the Orioles to me
More like the Mets the last few seasons
you didn’t have to do us like that😭
oOf
I feel attacked

The orioles lost 30-3 to a last place rangers team in 2007....
That deserves a DAMN SON.
Kyle B
Sure, but that's just how Baltimore sports works. Infinite pain.
Totally remember that night.
I remember that.
O's were winning 3-0
@@aidenhess8570 some pitcher on Texas got the save because he pitched the last three innings of that game
The 30-3 game was also the 1st game of a double header so immediately after the Rangers crushed the Orioles they had to come right back out and play again and the Rangers won that game as well.
Ouch
This has to be one of the worst possible scenarios for a game loss in sports
On the bright side, they were guaranteed to do better in the second game
Wonder how much cheap beer Urinatingtree had to consume to drown his sorrow after that Pirates massacre.
a few yinzer lites
As an O's fan, I was hoping for something to cheer me up.
same lol
Lol same
Same but we did blow out the jays in 2000 so
#LJ8NewEra lol Go rangers
As a Rangers fan, sorry but not sorry lol.
An honorable mention: In 2016, the Cubs beat the Reds 16-0 and Jake Arrieta threw a no-hitter.
Who's here after the Rockies lost 25-1, tying for the second worst loss in MLB history, and immediately traded a player to the opposing team
Actually it turns out the Rangers weren't tired of scoring. That 30-3 game was only the first of a doubleheader.
They won the second game 9-7.
“Remember when the D-Backs were good?”
Cuts like a knife bro ☹️☹️☹️☹️
Cam Olson that really hurt me
They are good now tho

All I can say is
That's a lot a damage

Craziest thing about that 30-3 game? It was the front half of a doubleheader. The Orioles lost the back end of the doubleheader 9-7. And they led that game too.
Wasn't all of the runs that Baltimore gave up earned?
The madmen did it. The pirates beat their getting blown out record by 1 more! AND ITS THE CUBS. LMAO
When your team’s biggest blowout took place before WW2
Who’s here after the Toronto blue jays beat the Red Sox 28-5?
Can you do the worst Basketball blowouts of the NBA and NCAA.
Yes please that would be sweet
Nugget vs hornets have to be on that list lol
Brandon Blanco He already did NBA teams Worst Blowouts 7 months ago
Jaynaco Perryman Part 2 and NCAA
And NHL
Fun fact the second most runs the Rangers have scored in a game is 26 also against Baltimore.
Man thank god the angels held onto Trout. Who needs chips when you’re drowning in money.
Anyone hear after the braves beat marlins 29-9
The Red Sox are losing to the Blue Jays 27-3 right now.
Edit: Red Sox lost 28-5
i was waiting to see this comment! that jarren duran missed fly ball is seared into my memory permanently
Fun fact: That game the Tigers lost by 22 was the game where all the starters sat out protesting Ty Cobb's suspension for beating a fan that had no hands, resulting in the Tigers using sandlot players.
To be fair to the Tigers pitcher Allen Travers who gave up all 24 runs in the loss, the entire Tigers team went on strike to protest Ty Cobb's suspension for beating up a fan so Tigers management literally went to the streets to field a team. Travers was found standing on a street corner in Philadelphia and although he never pitched a game in his life, was tabbed to pitch that day so keeping all of that in mind, he really didn't do that badly. Also, missing from this list, was the Phillies shelling the Mets 26-7 in 1985, a game where Von Hays hit 2 home runs in the first inning including a grand slam.
Not quite "on a street corner"; Travers and most of the Tigers were local amateurs, with several coaches reactivating themselves for the day. Still, it's one of baseball history's most fascinating stories and well worth mentioning and reading about.
@@MarkRosa But Travers was literally found on a street corner. From Wikipedia: "Jennings found Allan Travers on a city street corner. The 20-year-old junior from Philadelphia's St. Joseph's College was a violinist in the student orchestra, but had never pitched a game in his life. He had even been unable to make the school's varsity baseball team. Instead, Travers served as the team's assistant manager, preparing game summaries for the school annual." So he wasn't even on a team and had never pitched before and only did so because it paid more.
@@Rockhound6165 I understand that he later became a Jesuit priest, so maybe he sought solace in religion for the sufferings of that day. He is the only Catholic priest to have played Major League baseball, though I've heard of a couple that became ministers in Protestant denominations, including ex-Yankee relief ace Lindy McDaniel.
@@RRaquello I thought Travers was already a priest?
@@Rockhound6165 I'm not sure. Maybe he was a seminary student or something, but not yet a priest. Anyway, he got a good story to tell in later years and a permanent listing in the baseball encyclopedia. Who wouldn't want that?
Critique every NHL jersey
Note on the Philadelphia A's-Detroit Tigers game: Ty Cobb had been suspended for going into the stands in Philadelphia the day before and beating up a fan who had been heckling him (I believe the gentleman was handicapped). The Tigers went on strike to defend him, and Detroit management fielded a team of scrubs/scabs to play the Athletics that day.
MIKELIN8 I totally scrolled down just to see if anyone mentioned this yet. You beat me to it!
Dam i had no idea!
Philly and heckling are hand in hand since the city formed, I love it!
@@sameddington9072 i did the same thing! LOL
I live in Texas and remember that 30-3 beat down against the Orioles. My dad had a work friend in Baltimore and he called him after the game and he was laughing for a solid 2 minutes. His friend is a very *hardcore* Orioles fan.
Washington Nationals (as Monreal Expos)
Ah yes I loved the Monreal v Montreal rivalry the most

Yeah, that's weird.
I stayed for 30-3 I didn't care that we lost by 27 I saw history and I'll admit that
When the meteors come to wipe out all life on Earth, Orioles fans will be out sitting in their lawn chairs, sipping Natty Bohs and calmly watching one last disaster.
Just rewatching after laughing my ass off at the Mets getting whacked 20-2.
When you said “and then America became the Detroit Lions”...

The artillery fire sound effect when you dropped a bombshell had me cracking up! You're a matter of your craft. Loving the burns!
Iv been waiting for this one!
Just to put this out there a few weeks ago the Red Sox beat the White Sox 19-2
@Eric Elsinger hahaha we won the world series four times in the last 20 years, won the Super Bowl 6 times in the last 20 years not to mention all the appearances in the finals let alone the wins, won won the Stanley Cup once and we are currently in the finals right now and also don't forget to mention all the Eastern conference championships we've won including first place in our division in all of the teams in Boston and the Boston Celtics won the NBA Championship in 2008 and also had a bunch of division championships so our city is more successful then yours will ever be it's not a statement it's a fact

30-3...almost as heartbreaking as Game 6 of the 2011 World Series...
Benjamin McFadden I’m a ranger fan. I feel you
Wes Littleton was nails holding down that 27 run lead for the save
Belts29 I cried to sleep after game 6
Fuck rangers (angels fan so yah you can see why)
Zach DA Yac right back to ya
Seeing that my Tigers clip was in 1912 made me smile
I think the 27-8 beat down the Red Sox put on the Marlins should get a mention. The first inning alone the Sox scored 14 runs, with Johnny Damon getting 3 hits in that inning, the first two pitchers the Marlins used didn't even get an out, and oh yea, the Marlins went on to win the World Series that year.
Record for a first inning run production
bjchit That was 25-8
I won 52-3 against Oakland in MLB 9 Innings 2017 wheres that on the list
Matt Ludwig Detroit
Pfft that’s nothing in mlb 9 innings 2019 I won 68 to 4
Angels (me) can dodgers
I mean I beat the Phils 57-0 as the Mets and nearly threw a no-hitter. That’s gotta be up on the list.
On Jun 6, 1950, the Red Sox beat the St. Louis Browns (now the Orioles) 20-4. On Jun 7, 1950, the Red Sox beat the St. Louis Browns 29-4.
RIP Bill Buckner
The Browns even played like the Browns in baseball
Wait a second...the St. Louis Browns became the Baltimore Orioles and the Cleveland Browns became the Baltimore Ravens. St. Louis Browns never won a World Series either. While the Cleveland Browns won championships before the merger, their 30 year drought partially led to the move. Sports are weird. I feel like there's a Jon Bois video in there somewhere.
7:15 my first pirate game :l thanks for including it
The Mariners one needs to be updated now. The Astros just DESTROYED the Mariners 21-1!
The shelled award goes to Felix Hernandez for giving up 7 runs and Wade LeBlanc for giving up 6 runs. Everyone on the Astros got at least one hit and one run and Gerrit Cole struck out 15 batters!
At 11:47, the reason why that game was so lopsided was because the regular Tigers were sitting out in protest over Ty Cobb's recent suspension. As such, their manager found a bunch of random guys in Philadelphia to suit up and play as Detroit (it's implied, but not mentioned directly in the video).
Its the little touches that make your videos great, example giving a visual representation of wheels coming off as you say it.
Thanks, im glad those things aren’t lost on everyone
Great vid idea
There’s gonna be a part 2, especially after this week
Baseball is so random thats why its amazing
wow... this is video is truly epic
The Rays just got smashed 20-1 against the Blue Jays, a team who was doing worse than them with serious holes in their pitching rotation. Shows just how good the Blue Jays' 2020's offense is
please tell me that pronouncing Miguel Tejada's name like that was a joke
I lost so much respect for this channel after that
Raptorclap haha you know that’s a joke man come on
The Twins didn't even trade David Ortiz. They released him, and have been kicking themselves ever since.
Well they’re kinda good now
Haven't watched yet but i know its a banger
That feeling of dread as more and more teams are getting ultra shelled and my White Sox haven't been announced yet.
I was at the Nats vs Mets game and... oh boy it was the funniest thing to watch
Could u do more stadiums maybe like best collage baseball fields idk. Love you keep it up
Not a baseball fan, but got damn, Baltimore losing to the last place team, that’s tuff 🥺💀😂
It's hard to be a Orioles fan. However whoever is is a a Orioles fan is awesome. ⚾️
I like this.
Lol, schadenfreude. That game where Blazek gave up five homers against the Phils had me laughing hysterically for about five minutes, and I'm a Brewers fan!
Oh, hey, it's maybe the most salt-inducing FivePoints baseball video ever. This should be delightful!
This dude is funny 😄
One word: FINALLY.
Please do a video like this for every sport. Thanks!
Its already been done
Funny thing about that Reds loss, is that they turned around and beat the Phillies 4-3 the next night. Have to love baseball.
You’re probably gonna have to update this because before the year is out I’m sure the Tigers will lose 25-0
FalloutFan66 Nah.
29-0. We’ll allow a meaningless Grand Slam in the 9th.
Sadly, you're both right. Doesn't matter if it's 25 or 29, it just might happen.
I feel like the Blue Jays are trying to beat this record every week...
J J
My Padres won 19-4
Great pic of Ryan Braun.
I watched the nats beat the Mets live a the stadium 25-4
Nice touch putting Beumi's tyres coming off (literally) in China during the Baltimore segment
Was hoping the Cards v Dodgers 2-13 was in this. Was my first baseball game ever, all while in the first day of being in STL. What a comeback and i thought my new baseball team was trash haha
Definition of misery; pain & torture as a lifelong Orioles fan. Dying serves a better purpose than watching this team compete each game.
I was at that Phillies-Reds game. My friend's dad had gotten sick and so I went with said friend and his grandpop. I never saw Uncle Chollie (aka Charlie Manuel) so happy in my life. I was tired from celebrating so much when I got home that night.
I was at a game similar to the one you mentioned for Nats v Mets back in 2017, it even included the Nats and Mets. While I don't remember much of the game since I spent about three inning waiting in line for ice cream, I do remember that Rendon had six rbi's, Noah Syndergaard got hurt which ruined a promising start for New York, and the Mets got shlacked 23-5.
Props for using the Seb Buemi gif

I’m a very simple man I see that Fivepoint vids has made a upload and then I go and watch some urinatingtree
The cruelty
FivePoints Vids lmao 🤣 now ima just watch some u tree see ya
I was at that Mets game in Washington with my dad, who was down to visit me. We never leave baseball games before they're over. This one we left in the fifth inning, when the Nats had put up a touchdown and then four straight field goals for a score of 19-0. Being a Mets fan is often painful, and that was probably my most painful moment as a Mets fan.
When Matz shits the bed, he goes all out.
I remember that Diamondbacks game. 1st baseman Mark Grace pitched that game so everyone wanted to talk about his pitching performance instead of losing the game 19-1.
I've seen so many horrific Mariners losses I actually had no idea which one would be on here. They all blend together.
One time I was playing a baseball video game. I won 25-0, with 14 of those runs coming in the first, and I scored in all 6 innings.
Hottest ncaa softball players trust me nice video as always miss the manscape spot
I think I was at the Pirates 20-0 game it was great! I was 5 only remember seeing Filder hit dingers and getting ice cream after 😂
Went to that Pirates-Brewers game. Stayed through every miserable inning. More out of spite by the end of it all.
I was wondering when this was coming
This is probably better than the Gotham episode that I’m on.
Both Giambis got hits and everyone shared needles on the clubhouse! Lol!
The Red Sox shelling of the Rays when Nomar hit 3 dingers (including the grandest of salamis) was on his birthday. I remember watching the game
Love offense, very exciting and entertaining ! I love blow-outs too !👍
@Lighthouse in the Storm i just did exciting and entertaining !
You should do one for the biggest blown leads for each MLB team resulting in a loss.
Vid idea every MLB team’s greatest comeback
When you keep watching... and your team still hasn’t shown up... 😩😩😩😩
Make a video on the stupidest and out of this world mascots in all of sports (ex. the tree mascot for stanford)
Man i still cant get over the Red Sox game against the Yankees in 2012 what an awful blowout and year for the Sox
2020 Marlins got blown out by 20 runs by Braves 29-9 which would be a run over the one in this video. I know it was made in 2019 just thought I’d let you guys know
The Giants blowout of les Expos in 2000, I went to the game the next day. I popped my Pacific Bell/SBC/AT&T/Oracle Park cherry that day.
The best thing about that A's 21-3 win over the Angels last year was that Angels catcher Francisco Arcia pitched a couple of the late innings, and then hit a home run in the 9th. I believe he was the first player ever to allow a home run as a catcher, allow a home run as a pitcher, and hit a home run all in the same game.
Honorable mention to the Cubs pounding the Dodgers 20-1 in 2000. It was 4-1 in the 7th
Reminds me of when I used to play RBI Baseball on the NES. I would sometimes put the difficulty on "easy" just to see how many runs I could score. I cant remember if it was the 1990 AL all star team I used or the 1987 Detroit Tigers, but I racked up some 52 points in 9 innings lol Good times.
