The other is the font being really blurry compared to non-oled display because of the triangular shape of the dots in the panel und color fringing.

Hey i just got this monitor and im trying to connect it to my razer blade 15 via usbc to usbc , it doesnt detect the monitor , same for my rog ally . Anyone know anything i dont ?
It is doubtful that the new product is a significant upgrade for the G9 Neo. It is less expensive, less bright, and has a 21:9 aspect ratio compared to the G9 Neo's 32:9 format, which can't compete. Additionally, its 1800R curvature is less immersive than the G9 Neo's 1000R. Although the new product has a greater contrast, which is an advantage in dark games, it does not seem to beat the G9 Neo in other aspects (apart from response time but input lag?). Therefore, it appears that the G9 Neo still has an advantage over this new product, at least for now.
Curve doesn't matter as much as it's not as wide as the G9. The screen quality is better than the G9 Neo. (Better colours) The whole interface feels slicker rather than the dated OSD from G9 & G9 Neo's. I did send back this and went back to my G9 Neo for now, but I'm desperate to get my hands on the newer G9s seen at CES this year!

Hello, I'm planning to purchase this monitor but I'm wonder can i connect my external speaker through the type-c port so that the TV system and my ps5's audio could output from the external speaker. This monior just nearly perfect for me but lack of 3.5mm jack is the biggest problem. Thank you.
Nah ill keep my neo G9. Only thing ill upgrade to is the neo oled g9. Love the 49"
Cannot WAIT for that 🥹
Is it VESA mount compatible?
Yep! Using it on a Vesa mount in this video :)
does it work with Nvidia graphics cards without tearing and stuttering?
if u own and use a 21:9 monitor. wouldnt it make sense to upload your videos in 21:9 ? common sense right?
To get 175Hz your video card has to be able to output that. If it can't you won't get 175Hz.
Luckily my 4070ti does output 175hz for this monitor
I have a 4080 and it's still outputting 120... but my other monitor connect to my computer via hdmi is outputting 240 hm
Now that we're getting a G9 OLED I bet you're excited lol.
There's a new update out today. Please see if the volume problem goes away.
Gud video finding editing 4k monitor
Seems more like an ad than a review. The smart UI has several issues from being really slow to showing the VOLUME-ICON blinking all over the screen when volume is set to 0 and then opening the UI. The other is the font being really blurry compared to non-oled display because of the triangular shape of the dots in the panel und color fringing.
Thanks for the review :). As great as the colors look like, the reflections on the screen seem to be really extreme, at least it seems so in your video except in the scenes where you whole room is dark.
I have the bug with the volume on mine as well
ahah! So it's not just me! I thought it was some weird thing in my house doing that 😬
Yea. I am having the same issue. Hopefully they'll update it soon.
@@PeteMatheson and I thought it was my neighbour :D
i also heard that theyu will be giving thre "Freesyunc Pro" in the next update.
Those huge black bezels are kind of a shame
Wish Consoles supported Ultra Wide
I only hear Mac Mac Mac for a gaming monitor.
So can you play PS5 on this ?
Yes, I've plugged my PS5 into it 😊
@@PeteMatheson I’m about to order mine, can you reach 120 fps?
And do you have black bars on the side of your screen?
Hey i just got this monitor and im trying to connect it to my razer blade 15 via usbc to usbc , it doesnt detect the monitor , same for my rog ally . Anyone know anything i dont ?
If this monitor had PIP that would be awesome
(Better colours)
The whole interface feels slicker rather than the dated OSD from G9 & G9 Neo's.
I did send back this and went back to my G9 Neo for now, but I'm desperate to get my hands on the newer G9s seen at CES this year!
Yes, for games/movies but for work? I assume that it's not better in that regard.
OLED G8 is the
Grey look better

0.3ms - Before you praised the G9 now it's shait because you got the new G8 OLED and have moore space on your Desk...:)))))) Next year you'll get the new one and then you'll trash this one too !
Don't think I trashed it, I just gave an honest comparison 😊
Gsync vs Freesync support and differences. Come on man, I hate when this info is left out for some reason
The background music was too low bro. Make sure to crank it up at max on your next review.
What a huge BUGGGG)) lol
