Will this printer work for any type of cotton material?
you can definitely print onto cotton canvas although it will be thick. I have links but some of these are poly-cotton blends but the quality is amazing for the lyve or the chromata www.amazon.com/shop/shakiaharrisart/list/22JHJIFQ5M0DP?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfshop_aipsfshakiaharrisart_D93HE2EV2V68XAK32EQP . Just make sure it's meant for inkjet. I've tried printing on watercolor paper but it was too thick . I think if you try something not meant for an inkjet you could risk wasting ink because it won't absorb as easily

I have a question. If all of the color cartridges run out of ink, will it still allow you to print in just black? I’m asking because I’m thinking about getting this printer but I need it to only use black. The t3170 will allow you to but is significantly more. Thanks in advance

Thank you, thinking about getting this one. How often do you think you’ll have to buy ink?
I print a ton, I also do a lot of multi-day events (approx 9 per year). With that I print on 24inx60ft. rolls and purchase black ink once a year (80 ml, last bought 8/23 still have plenty) and color ink 2-3 times a year (50 ml lasts longer). I purchased color ink 10/18/23 and I just purchased another round because Cyan, Magenta, Yellow is getting low 4/9/24.
